Then they threw all their weight into the U.S. Senate race and gave us the Gorton/Cantwell fiasco. They threw away years of gains overnight...and gave the Senate back to the Democrats.
By putting themselves in the position of becoming a spoiler, the CP is doing itself, and conservative America, no favors.

the CP were on 48 state ballots in 2000. Fully expect to be on all 50 this time around.
your comment reminds me of what Martin Luther King once said: "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and consciencious stupidity."
no offense, but you really give a classic knee jerk response of the mindless sect of the GOP
liking or unliking laws isn't the issue. the issue is most of these federal mandates are unconstitutional...period. Article X of the Constitution my friend.
he's already gone on record voicing his intention to continue the assault weapons ban; you're either for the second amend or not, much in the way you're either pro-life or not.
And how's that effort on his part to continue the AWB?
Lip service....look it up.
President Bush, while Governor of Texas, was huge in the appointment of PRO CHOICE judges in that state. please read "Why Christians shouldn't vote for George Bush" at:

your loss, I chose not to be led around like sheep
yep, I couldn't think of any either...
yes it is "principle over politics". the difference between President Bush and John Kerry wouldn't amount to a thimble full of spit. I choose not to waste my vote on the "lesser of two evils" and vote for someone who's principles I agree with.
so we're all sinners....and your point? "emotional rhetoric".... give me a break!
I don't agree
Of course you don't agree...you believe in the easter bunny candidate of yours.
"...the difference between President Bush and John Kerry wouldn't amount to a thimble full of spit..."
...if you're a single-issue voter.
For me, I would still prefer not to have our foreign policy subordinated to the UN, redistribution of wealth, socialized medicine, gun confiscation, higher taxes, bigger gov't, etc. that we would get under JFKerry.
But you go ahead and make a statement with your 3rd party vote. That's what got us 8 years of Clinton. America will never be the same for that. The morals of this country were brought down and the terrorists were lulled into thinking that all they had to fear from us for 9/11 was a token cruise missile attack.
"Which candidate do the terrorists want? Vote for the other guy!"
I'm not (nor did I) calling anyone "stupid". Your knee jerk response is though.
happy you've got a degree in PS and you've got a 'responsible position' in your state's GOP...one of my degrees is also in PS and I too got a 'responsible position' in my states CP...so?
and when did I call President Bush any names? wee bit sensitive??
although it's not your goal, I can't see yet where you have argued this subject rationally. but that is no skin off my nose.

and that would be as opposed to you believing in your candidate how?
what got us "8 years of Clinton" is the fact that he got the highest % of the votes; period. I'm more than happy to vote for the person who I think is the best for the job as opposed to the lesser of two evils.
