The MDiv is no longer exclusively a pastor's degree. (It wasn't when I received mine in '83 at Asbury, anyway.)
I can't speak for Ditto, but my sense is she's pretty strongly SBC and has no interest in being a pastor. If I remember correctly, she's a Christian journalist.
