Apologize if this has been previously posted - more info on Walter and Ann Pincus:

"Journalist Kenneth Timmerman said that when the congressional Cox Commission confirmed that China had committed nuclear espionage against the U.S., "the Washington Post assigned a journalist whose wife was a Clinton administration appointee to cover the story." That was Walter Pincus. Timmerman said that Pincus and his wife Ann were guests of the Clintons at Camp David. Timmerman said that after several years at the U.S. Information Agency, Ann Pincus was transferred in the late 1990s to the Office of Research and Media Reaction at the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research, the same office that "lost" a laptop computer loaded with highly classified intelligence documents in April 2000.

Timmerman noted that, in his reports for the Post, Walter Pincus consistently sought to debunk the Chinese espionage allegations. Now he’s sliming the administration for acting against the Iraqi nuclear threat. No wonder the Democratic National Committee cites his work."

Thanks. I'd read this the other day and was quite interested to see that somebody outside of FR gets it.

Thank you! Is Ann Pincus still at the State Department?

Don't know.... if she is still there, it's possible that she was one of the political appointees that was assigned to a civil service slot before the Clinton adminstration departed. Sure is a small world.

Wouldn't surprise me if Clinton put her in at State as another part of the 'legacy' he left President Bush and our country.

Good reading in this Mark Steyn article stating his observations regarding the Wilson affair.

I just saw your additional information on Walter and Ann Pincus. This adds to our ability to understand why the media players in this "scandal" are unwilling to report the real story.

Several days ago there were ties mentioned between the Wilson's and the Clinton's. I have never seen the link of where they read it other than the $1,000 donation to Hillary's pac. You seem to be getting great tidbits I don't see elsewhere,so if you know about this link let us know. :)

Many of the daily stories painting the Wilson's as wonderful public servants with no political philosophy are coming from the Washington Post via Dana Priest. She is also on tv defending the Wilson's and bashing Bush about no WMD's as well as other things.

Frankly, I think it's about time Tenet took the hit. He was given a pass when he was held over from the Clinton administration. He got another pass after 9/11. Then another for the ***tty CIA work about WMD. Why should he be given a pass on this one? Heck, he's probably the leaker helping the Hillary agenda along!

Absolutely! The Clinton holdovers are working overtime for the demise of the Bush Administration.

Maybe he was never "officially" sent to begin with.

You could be right … I wonder why Tenet and the CIA have not loudly proclaimed this, if it is true?

Mr. Tenet may well not know anything and since the media have not been demanding from him anything probably knows he doesn't know anything. That is why I think that this selection, and assignment was orchestrated by more than CIA.

Since the "media" haven't followed up on WHO sent Mr. Wilson, (they probably know WHO), other than Mr. Novak who opened up this can of poop, they are not after what really went down.

Mr. Tenet is a mystery in this whole affair, and may have been told by the President to stay out of it. That should not stop the "media" from making a big deal about Mr. Tenet not talking.

The media is a player in this, whatever this really is, they know darn well what was and is going on. When Novak stated clearly that his sources were not from the White House the focus of WHERE it was from should have been the focus of the MEDIA. Yet they have sang the lying liberal song of it coming from White House and need for "Special Counsel".

Only one Congressman Peter King from NY has spoken publicly of the sorted affair. Mr. Wilson himself told us of his KERRY support, so could this have been orchestrated out of Congress and CIA/STATE/DEFENSE in an attempt to set up President Bush.

Why haven't the "MEDIA" ask that all important question and demanded an answer about WHO sent Mr. Wilson?

After all the lying liberals and their media whores tried to hang "KEN LAY" around President Bush, when in fact "KEN LAY" was far more connected with Clintons and India.

Hillary has been surprisingly quiet on this whole affair and she being on the Armed Services Committee knows all the goings on and I believe it is she and her generals in Pentagon that have made "RUMMY'S" life miserable. (WesleyClark) suddenly pops out to be front runner in the dims campaign for president, that was no accident.

Unless and until the "MEDIA" decides to tell what they know and when they knew it I doubt that we "the people" will know.

Good point... now add to that Rockefeller's Intelligence Committee memo on the rats' efforts to undermine the President.
