Patrick is Number one on the DU hit list of folks they are trying to get banned.

It is a puzzlement. But I must confess a certain satisfaction in reaching the top rung. It's not easy, however. Vade is always breathing down my neck, trying to topple me from my lofty perch. It's a real jungle out there ... but that's how it goes in Darwinland.

Have they posted their list :) I will never make it very high as I usually stay out of these debates. I really don't care if I get banned. I'm getting disgusted by the ignorance and I'm not sure I can stay in the republican party much longer with these guys gaining more and more power over it. If the libertarians didn't like to hide their heads in the sand I might go there. I wish the communists and the far right christians would unite and start a third party they really have alot in common at least in the new testament. That would purify the Republican party and more people would join.

The whole basis of science - physics - logic says ... something - complexity - life --- does not come from nothing !

There are tradeoffs ... socialism and freedom can not co - exist --- they are opposites !

You have to do better than that ... manipulating reality - existence to match your bias - desire --- denial !

If you want to be an anarchist that is your personal choice and you shouldn't try to conform us - America - FR to your personal life style - choice !

Evolution seems to be small govt liberals who want a voluntary slavery to their mind set --- never going to happen !

You think evolution can blend - meld everything ... opposites --- impossible!

Evolution is sock puppet science ... social engineering !

A free society does not need this brainwashing !

I will go one further. The attitude that is shown by the christians on this board turns off most scientists. I work as an archaeologist and the number one reason why my coworkers are almost universally democrat is that they don't wish to be politically/philosophically linked to the religious right. The ignorance and total disregard for science turns off many people that actually are conservative. Many will never vote for conservative candidates because the religious right seems to be in a continual struggle to destroy science and learning.

Amen amen and amen. This is a huge problem for conservatism. I got the nick RightWing from lab mates who were shocked that I voted for Bush and I support conservative measures. And most of these people are conservatives themselves philosophically, but will never vote that way since we are tied down with these zealots. I really don't know what can be done about it.

The political threads are where we talk about what's good for America. The crevo threads ought to be about the history of life on earth, most of the key events of which were over long before there ever was an America.

1. Just as some people have pronounced veriform appendixes,...

Darwin's statement (quoted in post# 358) is very clear and his endorsement of the brachycephalic index as indicating an inferior race is clear from the quote I gave. It was false science which he gladly and unquestioningly endorsed because it supported his evolutionary and his racist beliefs.

2. More blue history. Darwin hadn't glommed onto the mechanism of change, because Mendel's work

Genetics is central to the theory of evolution. Darwin, out of thin air, made up the 'melding' theory of genetic transmission (again, in large part due to his racism since skin color does seem to meld). Again, you need insults because my statement is true. Darwin was no scientist. In addition to which it took evolutionists decades to make evolution 'seem' to conform to Mendelian genetics. So yes, Darwinism was proven wrong by science - again.

3. 3. The answer is an insult so therefore my statement is correct. That is, of course, illogical gibberish. An insult neither confirms nor refutes an argument.

Of course it does. It shows that neither you nor your friend can refute my argument that DNA makes evolution impossible due to the numerous mutations which would have to occur in the exactly correct order for a new function to arise.

As to your statement about the immune system, it is completely off the wall and has nothing to do with the question. Realize your desperation in the face of the truth, but really!

4. Oh? Than what is the immune system doing? How could it be creating complex new anti-bodies from scratch?

For the immune system and how it works you should look at Nobel Prize Design in DNA III which explains it quite well and gives sources for even more information. In short, it has nothing to do with mutations.

er....I'm a heel.

I hope I didn't imply that you were the jerk here. I was kind of irritated at the fact that what starts off as an excellent article, turns into a shouting match... something that always happens.

I'm not even going to get involved in the identity crisis issue - I don't really care who you are, and whether you are Aric2000 (who I think I have talked to before).

Personally, I really wanted to get into a discussion about the possible theories of introns.

Which, I don't think, you have really gotten into - What do you think of them??

American History comes far enough after the rise of hominids that it should be basically unaffected.

Someone has the list. It was seen before they locked their threads in shame. Whoever has it can freepmail it to you.

The problem you mentioned about ignorance in the republican party is genuine. Most of us stay here to demonstrate to the world that the republican party isn't the political arm of the flat earth society. At least not entirely. It's a battle well worth fighting.

Natural sciences do not deal in proof

Of course they do. When you gonorrhea and penicillin takes the illness away that is scientific proof of the effectiveness of penicillin. The proofs of science are numerous and are repeatable, and can be built upon to make new discoveries and find proofs of more things. This is how science works and how science advances human knowledge. Not even the skeptic/atheist Hume dared to question this. That evolutionists cavalierly state such an absurdity shows their utter desperation in the face of scientific facts which completely refute their nonsensical theory.

I wish we could shove them off the deck without life jackets. If there was a real alternative I think alot of people would try to leave them behind. Unfortunately the Republican party can't afford to lose the voting block these guys represent at least that is what the party thinks. I wish they would get real angry and leave on their own. If the Republicans continue to hem and haw on the prayer in old folks homes and ten commandment thing maybe they will get angry and form a third party. Good riddance.

The American Revolution is about what some people did. Evolution is about where they came from.
