Given what I saw of Tom in this election, I would never vote for or support him for any state or federal office again. That's not a threat, that's a promise. And Tom's going to find out he's not the only one who keeps his promises.

An Orange County Republican fund-raising group sent McClintock a letter Wednesday urging him to do the right thing for the party and drop out. But McClintock said he won't bow to pressure.

"We've gotten a few ... but most of it's been conveyed through threats and suggestions through the media, and my position is I don't negotiate with terrorists," he said.

"my position is I don't negotiate with terrorists," he said. "

---

Note the word "negotiate" in addition to the word terrorist. Behind the scenes Republican leaders were trying to persuade him, to NEGOTIATE with him, clearly promising him a job in the Arnold administration, their support for other offices (Senate?) etc., and McClintock's response is as above. Anyone who doesn't do exactly what Mcclintock wants is a "terrorist". And this man thinks he is qualified to be governor? And what is the matter with his supporters, can't they SEE this?

If the allegations prove to be true, McClintock said Schwarzenegger should get out of the race.

Where were these women for the last 30 years? If the allegations were true, why did they wait until 4 days before the election to complain?

McClintock's terrorist comment againt Republicans apparently was not a one time slip, it's part of his script -- he said it again in San Diego, the paper is quoting him verbatim.

What an ass!

I'm on the fly today, with way too much to do - I just want to let you know that I saw Duf Sundheim(?) on TV yesterday, I believe on FOX News, and he said that the party is NOT threatening McClintock, and will always have a place for him.

Personally, I think Tom's a little bit paranoid...

I was for McClintock from the start. But I ran into him the night before last when I was out to dinner. He looked like one mean SOB. I thought for sure he had dropped out of the race because he was not in a politicking frame of mind. Had I wanted to go up to him to shake his hand, his expression scared me off. I'm surprised he's still campaigning after his attitude off camera the other night.

Nice quote...here is another:

"He grabbed me from behind and picked me up off the ground -- I was airborne. He wanted to have sex with me. He said: 'Come on, let's do it. You know how much I want you. I want to feel your t**s and see if they are real.' He clamped his hand on one and wouldn't let go. He had his arms around me. I kept saying: 'No, no, no.' I was trying to get away from him, and he was trying to hold me."

But then "he doesn't recall", "its old news", "the women just want money", "its just about sex"....sounds like clintons cool-aid drinkers all over again.

Getting endorsed by McCain should have been enough for some of you to come to your senses...

And even now, NONE of the women went to LA Times, on their own, the LA Times contacted them -- the LA Times itself ackowledged that.

The woman, who even went on TV, saying that her husband worked out in the same gym as Arnold, she went into the gym to wait for him, and Arnold "groped her breast", said that she told her husband at the time. Funny, the husband didn't do anything about it, isn't it? If it had been true, don't you think there would have been some consequences? She said, that her husband didn't allow her to go to the gym again. She probably went to gawk at the muscled bodies and probably she rubbed up against Arnold, as he passed by. THAT's why her husband didn't do anything to Arnold and prohibited her from coming to the gym ever again.

In 1974, I saw Tom McClintock across a crowded Pizza Hut. Our eyes met, and I knew it was fate. He followed me into the parking lot and stuck his finger in my ear, I screamed and cried for mercy, but he didn't listen.
Nine months later I gave birth to his love triplets, but I was so afraid of what he would say about me that I gave the babies to a Sudanese chocolate factory...

See how easy it is to make an unsourced allegation...

Is this the voice of a rational man, calling his fellow Republicans "terrorists"?

Wow. I've never heard of somebody getting pregnant from getting a Wet Willie...not in the ear, anyway.

Maybe it's like the old Gomer Pyle joke:

"Gomer!!! That's not my belly button!"
"Surprise, surprise, surprise! That ain't mah finger, neither!"

Exactly, especially knowing that Arnold is rich. So why not taking him to court? Because she and the rest of them didn't have a case, but now this is different, now they know they have the media on their side.

LOL! Exactly.

The LAT even printed allegations, which were proven to be lies by eye-wtnesses at the time. The woman who was interviewing Arnold claimed he grabbed her, put her on his lap, and felt her breasts to check to see if they were real.

Eyewitnesses, who were present said none of that happened, in fact the woman herself grabbed her own breast, offered them to Arnold and sat in his lap. Arnold's security immediately escorted her out. Sounds like a woman scorned trying to take revenge.

Hmmm, does Tom have an ADMITTED history of sticking fingers in ears?

I'm sure you supported clinton against Jennifer Flowers as well right? I'm sure you asked why Juanita and Jennifer waited so long...

We need to stop wearing the kneepads we accused the dems of wearing. The (r) in front of his name isn't worth the blind support. (especially when it stands for rino)

I'm sure there will be.... but it may not be the highly elevated position that 'tock may think he's entitled to... It mostly will depend upon 'tock and how well he can work with others.... If he can't then my guess he'll be limited.
