Tropico is a blast. My daughter has snarked it, though.
You get to be a Caribbean dictator, and the goal is to run your island while stealing money. You get awesome powers, especially to bribe and assasinate anyone.
You can be deposed, however, which frequently happens to me after bloody civil wars over the notion that I don't like standing for election, and tend to either cancel them or kill my opponents.

I know what you mean. My wife threatened to throw away the computer. I am *allowed* to play on the weekends and only after everyone is in bed. These games can be worse than Oxycontin. Red Faction looks very cool too.

Is there a free site for that, or is that an online game I have to buy software for?

That would be unprecedented - and would go a long way toward undoing the damage of all this.

I never played Red Faction II, but I purchased "Freedom Fighters" for the Xbox last night. I didn't get a chance to open it yet, but it sounds like a cross between "Hitman 2" and the 80's classic movie "Red Dawn".

With this being "Open Line Friday", wonder if Clark Dean or Sharpton will call in and chastise Rush. Now that would be a twist for Rush. He would grind them up and spit them on the floor.

I've been scowled at over the notion of getting "Vice City".....

Would this be the time to say that Rush is overrated because he's white, just to get the ball really rolling? When it comes to boxing, never bet on the white guy.
I can still say that, right?

Vice City is the greatest third person game ever made. I can't wait for the Xbox version release in November.

When I started listening to Rush 11 years ago, I betcha I tried calling in a half dozen times a day for two years, just to pat him on the back and to tell him what a great job he was doing. Never got anything but a busy signal.

If there's any truth to these allegations, I sure as hell hope that he's been off those pills for awhile already. Did you read the Palm Beach Post article about the housekeeper and her husband? Husband served prison time for cocaine dealing, she's been nabbed for credit card or identity fraud, he tried (unsuccessfully) to sue the lady whose house he was working on when he had his fall for $75,000. They're both of them straight A losers. The article is floating around somewhere here on FR.

(Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it.)
I am going out now to get all my chores done before noon.
I do not think Rush will offer any comment on the drug allegations on his show today. He will allude to it and thank everyone for their support and kind words.
He will say he is unable to comment due to pending investigation.
If the police are really after the pusher they dont want him jeopordizing the case.
We shall see what happens.

Anyone know where I can score some good hillbilly H? I got a mad, shaky habit . . .
To: wimpycat
That doesn't say much for Rush, if those are the kind of folks he hires.
