Thanks to OldFriend, who asked me to help with the posting.

Geez, the difference in spin across news organizations in simply amazing!!
Can someone from the Whitehouse **please** just step up and put the type of spin on this story that the Sun does?
I like Bush, but his media team is terrible!

WHAT is most surprising about the damning new evidence against Saddam Hussein is that the US media is content to only report what hasn't been found as opposed to what has, and the obvious implication of those findings....
OK ... so it's not surprising, but I was using your quote for reference....
HERE THEN...
WHAT is most surprising the biggest pisser.

A TERRIFYING new probe yesterday revealed Saddam Hussein WAS secretly preparing for chemical, biological and even nuclear war. TERRIFYING DEMOCRATS that this will leak out all year drop by drop. Someone will probably be interviewed on TV next October about how his life was threatened if he didn't finish the nukes.

Thank you for posting this very even handed reporting; it might be the only news report of its type we see.

If Saddam's next-door enemies in Iran were developing/acquiring nukes, then you can bet that he was doing the same thing.

"Thank you for posting this very even handed reporting; it might be the only news report of its type we see." Well, I wouldn't call it "even handed". The report is a little breathless, after all. Which is not surprising, given that The Sun is the most pro-Blair UK tabloid (the UK papers make no pretense of being neutral and objective, quite unlike the US mainstream media elite poseurs).
Nonetheless, the Sun will be a vastly more reliable source of information on Iraq than the NYT, LAT or ABCCBSNBCCNN.

The report is a little breathless, after all. There is a definite pro-Blair bent, but, as you indicated, it is far more accurate than the crapola we are getting in the USA. On a scale of 1 to 10, if "5" is the absolute truth and the lower numbers are liberal, this article is a "6" while the NY Times, et al, are hovering in the 1-2 range.
