Regan looked like he was in trouble at this time in his presidency. Polls looked bad. But he was a great president and the people trusted him over the democrats. The Rats are trying to create an Iran Contra type scandal in the first term to make a second term unlikely. Remember Reagan's third year slump were a result of a bad economy not alleged malfeasance. This needs to be opposed vigorously. We should all e-mail the Bush haters and let them know that we won't stand for it. I think a couple of e-mails telling them how we feel about their attempts to weaken a wartime president and the political price they will pay for this will be useful. We should send thoughtful and strong worded letters to these Fifth Colomn leftists within government and without.
