Ok. Maybe just as unlikely as flying a few airplanes into a few buildings?

Great! Stripers boiling at Lake Powell, doesn't get any better than that.

Im willing to bet they knew he was leaving with it, watched where he went and who he gave it to, then grabbed him on the way back.

Why would they be trying to stage a breakout of Gitmo prisoners(they are just foot soldiers) unless there is someone is being kept there we don't know about.
You mean a Koje-do scenario? Hmmmm

I agree that Putin has already named names in his conversations with the President. (BTW, Putin speaks German and English as well as Russian.) When the President was admonishing the press for the numerous questions within questions, Putin was laughing before the translation even started. He nearly comes right out and tells us he's shared the intel by saying "I have never said this in public" implying to me that he has said it in private. What country had the most to lose from our operation in Afghansitan?

He'd be bringing the stuff back to his USA terror cell... I recall a report where most of these extremists are no longer talking on cell, 'net, etc..Their using courier's..That's my take. He took info somewhere in the ME where the brains compiled it onto CDs, along with who knows what else, and he was bringing it back to distribute amoungst his evil brothers. This is scary. Very scary, indeed.

Now, who contacted Putin? And whoever it was, they now know that he has probably told Bush, given that this was said in the middle of the press conference.Interestingly, President Bush made no comment on this, but simply let it hang there. Even MORE interesting, the press has ignored it? Wouldn't you think they would like to know? I certainly want to know!
Was it a nation, a terrorist group, or certain individuals?
Bump! Inquiring minds want to know.

What if the terrorists were to hook up with a guy like CastroTwo years ago Putin was to close down Lourdes, the Russian signals intelligence facility near Havana, Cuba. China also has a facility nearby. There was talk China would take over the Russian site, but did they or did someone else?

Sounds to me as if someone's planning a breakout, with maybe an attempt to get to Castro's Cuba and ask for asylum. If security's not tight there now, it should be. Well, as someone who spent a year stationed at Guantanamo, I would advise them to pray to Allah that they not get blown to pieces in the U.S. minefields.
If they survive that, I would advise them to pray to Allah that they not get blown to pieces in the Cuban minefields.
