He's going to implode sooner or later. I think sooner.

The thread is peaceful, because "some people" wouldn't come and touch it with a ten-foot pole. ;)

Sorry FO, but I generally lose interest in an article on or around the 20,000th word.

Me too, which is why I will read the entire endorsement later tonight, but, please see POST #15!

I hope they stay away.

It's letting me sign off for the night with a smile, a rare thing these days.

Fascinating insight from someone on the inside. Two points stand out. First, Tom McClintock's all-encompassing ego of feeling that he is "entitled" to the governorship that he essentially spit in the face of Darrell Issa, the "father" of the recall. Second, Haynes points out if this were a primary, he'd support Tom. It's essentialy for everyone to recognize this is NOT a primary. It's a General and we need to support the strongest candidate in order to end the Bustamante-Davis regime. Thumbs up to Haynes- excellent piece.

WOW.

This is a must, MUST read about McClintock's history with the recall and his current lack of support. It is a letter from Ray Haynes who knows McClintock well and this explains a great deal.

Thank you very much for the ping... this was remarkably helpful in understanding why things have proceeeded in the manner we've seen.

And poor Ray Haynes, it must have hurt him terribly to feel he had to write this letter :-(
