Good theory. Not tinfoil at all.

McClintock would be foolish to drop out at this point in the game... He needs to let this thing play itself out. If there have been no bombshells by Saturday, then there won't be any - they'll want to have the bombshell circulate in time for the weekend news cycle. That's how they stole the senate seat away from Herschensohn.

The only thing we know is that Grayout has a history of vicious campaigning, and he has been promising a "surprise" for the final week...

Why don't you tell us about it? In more detail. And where you read it.

Not worth the grief.

"Not worth the grief."

How can you say that?! I mean if we have someone here with an inside track on the "dirt". I think it's important for us to know about it. In the very least we should know so that we can figure out a plan. Who knows we may be able to dispel it if it's a lie. Or we may be able to reposition the vaunted mighty hero McClintock in time to come to the rescue of Republicans everywhere. That's what you want, don't you? . . . .

I have previously posted materials re the likely avenues of attack, and it only led to flame wars - much of it consisting of personal attacks on me for having posted the materials.

How does this guy think he has a chance in hell, if so many freepers can't stand him even.

I have to words for McClintock's adventures: Career suicide.

True but the claim made by Enough is enough is about all new dirt and we're not asking him to start a whole new thread about it. Just post the info here in a lowkey fashion.

I mean seriously, if he has some secret sauce on Arnold it's important that this information gets relayed to the right people so that they can know best how to handle it. True?

Even if he knows what it is, Tom won't release it -- unless he can get it out there without his fingerprints on it. But, I don't think it is necessary. If there is something, Davis/Bustamante will use it.

Heck, Davis has nothing to lose at this point and would happily set of a real nuke in San Francisco Bay if he had one and thought it would help.

But all the other dirt they have tried has been shrugged off. The Oui article? Who cares? The nude pics? Yawn. The racist gym comments? Shrug. (Bustmante is his cover for that one). Nazi dad? Big deal.

Hollyweird has pretty much insulated him from all that because no one expects movies stars to act like saints and everyone more or less figured he would have something like that in his closet. So, if there is anything at all, it's going to have to be something totally unexpected and very shocking.

Is there something? Stay tuned, campers.

what is he spoiling? He's just trying to give Californians someone they can vote for if they are conservative. Since he is the only conservative in the race he can't spoil anything. Maybe the Green party is spoiling it for Cruz or something?

You'll have to address that question to Enough is enough - he has not responded to my Freepmails. Case closed as far I am concerned.

Regardless, I think something has to be coming. Perhaps you think Davis/Mulholland would never stoop to such tactics, but I respectfully disagree. Davis has even promised a surprise this week.

So stay tuned.

It seems to me that a lot of people at this website should never again complain about RINO's and weak GOP leadership in Congress that can't get a vote on judges when they have the majority. I can now understand how we got those chaps in Congress now.

Oh I'm quite sure Davis would stoop to that level. But since he also promised something. . . well let's just say that when Davis says he promises something, I tend to chuckle a bit.

Really so you're saying that the few. The proud. The true blue conservatives in congress had set-up their pup tents and camped out during the fillibuster? Exactly what do you think a congress consisting of the same numbers we have now would have been able to do to stop the fillibuster?????

There have been several Pennsylvania-based Freepers who have been rooting Arnold along. Then I went over to some Specter-vs-Toomey threads, and they were totally bashing Specter and rooting Toomey along. Amazing, isn't it?

Toomey has no chance. We must COMPROMISE! Sure Spectre is a liberal Republican, but at least he is a Republican...

Jeesh! Vote for the conservative dude

"It's called candidate-itis, and it's a severe disease," Hoffenblum said. "What he badly misreads is how much Republicans want this win, and how Tom appears at times to be in the way."

Who are the "Republicans" he is referring to? No candidate has more grass roots support than McClintock. He has just passed Huffington among all contenders in total number of individual donors, and Tom has a lower percentage of out-of-state donors than any candidate.

Seems like the "Republicans" Hoffenblum is talking about are the same ones that wanted to make Dick RINOrdan Governor. As I have said before, Karl Rove and the CA GOP money men tried to shove Riordan down conservatives' throats, and he was spit back in their faces.

Lets filibuster spending increases.

Oh right, the GOP would never stand for it.

The Dems would not have kept up a real filibuster, they would have been blamed for holding up their precious budget...

It is amazing. What a difference a little first-hand knowledge makes.

Some would have us surrender everything we believe in if we would vote for a winner.

If only we had a Communist country we could all vote for the winner, the only choice on the ballot!
