Calling people who have indicated they do not want to be called is trespassing.

Yup. My property rights MUST trump your freedom of speech...when you're on or interfering with or using my property...or I have no freedom, period.

(Terra Vegetable Chips. WOW they're good. But you will worry about your $800 crowns.)

Well, that's what the FTC essentially ruled, anyway.
I don't really have a dog in this hunt - the only reason I have any phone lines at all is for ADSL service. Don't even have a phone plugged in at any of the houses.

I think it is immature and irresponsible to be flooding the number 405-609-5000 with telephone calls. I, for one would never call 405-609-5000 to vent my spleen. In fact, I'm not even going to tell you what the number 405-609-5000 is, that way you can't call 405-609-5000 and mis-use that information. Dang, Bill! And I really wanted to know what that number 405-609-5000 was, I really did! I mean, I just really, really, really wanted to know that number 405-609-5000 so I could call it and act juvenile and all that. But since you won't tell me about that number 405-609-5000, I'll just have to remain on the straight & narrow and act my age. Thanks, I guess...

Some people would use their PC to autodial the number all day and night. I hear you can have it call the number over and over until you get a good PC connection.
The nerve of some people. Especially some people in the 405 area code.

"They are just calling to tie up our lines," said Rick Wade, operations manager at the district clerk's office. "They just keep calling to harass us, like the telemarketers harass them, I guess." Somebody call the WAAAAAmbulance.

U. S. Security does not sell anything over the phone. We simply ask for the opportunity to tell someone about the life saving benefits of our security and fire systems in a face to face meeting. This guy's use of the language makes Bill Clinton look like Noah Webster.

The telemarketers are taking a bite out of citizens' time, without those citizens' consent, and many citizens have found it necessary to incur further time and expense on installing technological obstacles to cut down on the telemarketer's intrusions. And then the telemarketers deliberately circumvent the technological obstacles.
If I lock my door and you pick the lock to get in against my wishes, you go to jail. Why is this any different?
