"I mean, the route that comes up when you consider the "sightings" is a route which makes little or no sense." He, he he...She walks a triangle, if she is like me she called it her triangle. Dev, its not supposed to make sense,Luv its supposed to ward off boredom, keep your mind on a different look all the time and keep your mind off of how far you have gone.It is psychological and you never run out of new routes.
Also if you have a difficult animal that likes to go his/her own way you can thoroughly confuse him/her until they act like you want without having to get rough.
I used to walk in Waveland(this was 1990+/-) The railroad and the beach and Sears Ave. Form a triangle 10 miles +/- around the perimeter. I set a goal of 20 miles a week. In 6 mts. I was doing almost double that. I never could have done it w/o my triangle. The advantage was that I could walk almost anytime by takin advantage of the trees in the heat and the many angles of the streets in the windy cold.
Another thing about them is you can walk long distances and not ever be too far from home, if the weather is changing or maybe I wasn't feeling too good and wanted access to the house in a hurry. IOW,I never had an excuse not to walk.
I have mapped out Laci's triangle several times and I will again later today. She had a good tringle with access to two parks along, is it Rocky creek. One by her house, and Mrs Mitchell says she walked a park by her house weather permitting. She said Laci would walk in both directions-on different days. Sometimes she passed her house before she went to the park and other times vice versa.
If memory serves, the last day she was coming from the park.Let me check first and see. I remember, I thought the area she was walking through after she passed the mitchells looked, on the map anyway, to be a spot ideal to be Grabbed, In fact I think that was about when she had to go. the dog took the creek bed home I think; Thus all the mud on the leach and that would put him paassing the teacher who was in the park by her house.
I need a nap; I went walking this morning.

LOL, we really do need a cast of characters index!

That's really interesting Maggie. I don't get Catherine Crier et al but you can keep me posted. Whichever way this thing happened, Snott IS the author of it. Also, I find it very very telling that her torso was found with the remnants of light colored slacks. The same as what she was wearing at the hairdressing shop when LAST seen. NO way was she wearing black slacks as Scott described. The so-called witnesses are out to lunch!! They all have her walking on different streets in different directions all at the same time.

Perhaps, Ray. But it's already certain that there was more than one smiling, pregnant brunette living in that neighborhood.
I know scent dogs are not perfect, but I just think those dogs they brought in would have found a little something along the street, if she'd been gallivanting all over the place on foot.
She being middle-class female, would be more cautious, especially while pregnant for her first time. I don't think she'd want to get too unpredictable with her route while near the end of pregnancy. Plus, it's uncomfortable to walk at that time.
I mean, if she was walking all over the streets, where did Scott get the idea that she was going to the park? He says she told him that. (We have to believe him! It's not his fault if he's being framed. He has no criminal record.) Once she told him that, I think she'd have stuck more or less to that. Or at LEAST she'd have taken her cellphone--but she took ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with her, not even a few quarters for a panhandler, b/c all her money, I.D., etc., was found in the house.
Do they still have Trapani's in Waveland? LOL, my husband used to drive that long, lonely road between I-10 and Waveland, not far from that NASA place. He claims a small yellow-lighted object followed his car one night, then zoomed out of sight, then appeared in front of his car!

CO brings up a point I forgot. When we map where Laci was "seen" that morning, we have to include the stated times. When earlier they put together the times of those witnesses' sightings, the times were impossible to all be true.
To: MaggieMay
Oh, no. He's a handyman? Wouldn't you know, lol! Richard Ricci was a handyman, William Rothstein (in the bombed pizza man case) is a handyman... eeek!! The guy in "The Postman Always Rings Twice" was a handyman! Then there was that handyman that the little girl burned to death in "The Bad Seed"!
Very interesting, that Muna now claims they have a witness!

Could The Bones Be Additional Peterson Remains?
http://www.ktvu.com/news/2524468/detail.html RICHMOND Calif. -- Authorities on Wednesday were trying to determine if bones -- believed to be human neck bones -- discovered by a dog walker at a Richmond bay-side park were additional remains of murdered Modesto schoolteacher Laci Peterson.
The bones were discovered by Lori Krestian as she walked her dog 'Bubba' at the park several hundred yards from where Peterson's partial remains and those of her unborn son were discovered in April. Peterson's husband, Scott, has told investigators he was fishing in the nearby waters off the Berkeley Marina on Christmas Eve day when Laci allegedly disappeared from the couple's Modesto home without a trace.
Scott Peterson has been charged with two counts of capital homicide and is currently being held in the Stanislaus County jail without bail. There is an Oct. 20 preliminary hearing scheduled in the case.
Krestian said she was walking her dog along the beach when she made the grisly discovery.
"They looked like human bones to me," Krestian told KTVU. "I thought 'What am I going to do?' If I left them there they would have washed out. I put them in a bag"
Authorities said there would be a two-step identification process. Step one would be to determine whether or not the bones were human remains. If so, they will be forwarded to the Contra Costa County Coroner's Office to determine if they are those of Peterson.
Searchers returned to the local waters in late September hoping to find further evidence in the case. Because of a gag order imposed by Stanislaus Superior Court Judge Al Girolami, authorities could not say what, if anything, they found in that search.

I watched the video blurb on KTVU that corresponds with the article above. Ted Rowlands reporting says they are possibly "neck bones".

That's really something! You're on the ball!!
(If a week or so they come back and say, "Oh, those turned out to be just animal bones" and then you hear loud cussing, pay no mind, it's just me at my monitor... I want to know for SURE who killed Laci!!)
To: Velveeta
I hope that when the 4+ dogwalker witnesses in this case finally come to court to testify, that they get to bring their dogs.
To: Devil_Anse
you know that is what I thought they stated those bones were... from a animal? Were they wrong, or premature?

I want to know for SURE who killed Laci!!Me too, Anse! I don't want to have a reasonable doubt. And whoever did it, I want him/them to pay most dearly, to the full extent of the law.

He said that Carroll told him the two names were Tony and Anthony (given that "Tony" is the nickname...)
I just have a nagging feeling that Carroll is something from the defense team and am waiting to see where all the chips fall.

He said that Carroll told him the two names were Tony and Anthony (given that "Tony" is the nickname...)That was the other question King said he would have liked to follow up on, but didn't! I'm just glad someone else saw the program! LOL!
What do you think of King vs. Muna? As a former LEO, I rather think he sounds more credible than Muna. Would much rather hear him answer questions. He actually answers the questions, and I believe truthfully. I think if I were in trouble or had a story to tell, I'd pick someone else if I were Carroll.
One more thing, Rusty, if you recall, did King say there were 2 girls in the club, one had a camera, another sat on a "lap" or "laps", while the other girl "snapped" a picture? Anyway, I was somewhat under the impression that the girl (or girls) worked at the club. Is that what you heard?
You may be right--this could be coming from the defense, but don't think King is. Maybe Muna, but nevertheless, it's time for MPD to make a statement about what has been reported to them regarding this in lieu of taking us back to the bay for what appears to be neckbones. JMO

Cory Carroll is certainly only telling edited parts, of the story. If he is telling the truth at all.
I am anxious to see more corroboration of his story.
Where is Jackie-O? Our very own Fox news reporter.

Law Enforcement are Not allowed to comment right now Sandy. They will get their hands slapped or the "evidence" will not be admitted if they break the gag rule.
