... and you think he hasn't got a sharp ax waiting for Tom also ?

You AS supporters are constantly going on about TM's cross-eyes & thin lips. About how he's a wonk & a nerd. Do you really think what they have on him could stack up against what they most assuredly have on AS? After twenty wild years in Hollywood?

You all should be grateful to TM. His staying in the race is probably the only thing keeping all that dirt under wraps. In fact the dims are just waiting for TM to drop out before administering the Coup de Gras...

Laugh all you want, but, just remember, the arrogance you and the other Arnold "supporters" or should I say, ANTI-Buster supporteres of Arnold are pushing those of us who SUPPORT Mc further and further away from your small r dem clones and that includes Arnold. Some of you pulled the same kind of crap when Simon ran against riordan. Thanks for the motivation.

You're welcome. Too bad my "motivation" is far too little to help the hapless loser Tom as he's sure to lose. Maybe next time. Oh, wait; if he maintains his present course and assists in the election of bustamante there won't be a next time. That, of course, is his choice to make.

But I do thank you for being honest (more so than the average TomBot) by admitting that we just want to see bustamante lose. You could go one further and admit Tom doesn't stand a chance but that would require you to admit your vote for the man is a waste.

I won't hold my breath on that one.

Can anybody say "Country Club Republican"? What's next, a Rockefeller family endorsement?

You can't compare Yacht clubs and country clubs. The latter are filled with of snobs. The former, with a few exceptions, mainly consist of bunch of sailors who like to get together and drink.

A lot of yacht clubs are run on shoestring budgets, though I don't know about this one. At the yacht club my parents belonged to when I was growing up the members did nearly all the maintenence. The only people we had on the payroll were the cook, who was there only on weekends, and the bartenders, who were there either on the weekends or after a weeknight race. Oh, and I think we had a janitor who came in a couple times a week and maybe after a big event. That was it.

Hopefully by 2004 or 2006, Arnold will have unified and re-energized the Republican Party of California to battle against the Democrats.

Do battle on what? I have yet to see any meaningful difference between Arnold and the Dems even on fiscal issues.

http://www.hjta.org/recallendorsement.htm

The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association seems to be able to not only see a difference between Arnold and the Democrats, but enough of a difference between Arnold and the other Republicans to give him their endorsement.

... and even Tom respects them enough to provide a link from his site ...

Voters, not worried that he may split the vote, stand by principles rather than desire to win.

Cool. Let's call ourselves "Losers With Principles." LOL

I'm not "admitting" you Just want Bustamonte to lose, I'm Saying that your "support" of Arnold is 100% based on your desire for Buster to lose rather than a STRONG support for Arnold. If you're truly a conservative, there are at least 5 issues that Arnold has taken a stand on that are diametrically opposed to the conseravtive beliefs. If there were just 1 or even 2, I could accept that, but, not five.

"You could go one further and admit Tom doesn't stand a chance but that would require you to admit your vote for the man is a waste."

I don't know that Tom can't win in spite of the ANTI Busters continuing to speak that mantra. A vote based on principle a waste? I think not! I am fed up with pretend conservatives and they will Never again get my vote and I couldn't care less whose running against them. Bottom line, there are enough "win at any cost" voters and "parasite" votes that it does not make any difference, therefore, I choose to vote my conscience based on conservative principles. Yes, I'll no doubt be on the losing end more often than not, but, at least I will have played no part in the betrayal that is second nature to politicians regardless of the letter after their name.

You'll have played a part alright. You'll have assisted in the election of the likes of cruz bustamante, a racist Mexican who wants to hand over California over to Mexico.

And I'll have the satisfaction of knowing I did all I could to prevent it.

I will not accept the blame for that.

"DOG IN THE MANGER supposed Conservatives, stop being blinkered masochists."

Insults, always insults. First, we're delusional, then we will be responsible for electing buster, then we're irrational and now we're Dogs in a Manger! How the hell do you expect us to vote for your democrat running as an republican (just like bloomberg in NY) if you people continue your barrage of insults. One thing you people know how to do is, alienate people. You may be masochistic by continuallly voting for liberal/moderate pretend republicans, but, we aren't.

You can sell out, but, don't expect me to do likewise.
