Details of last week's raid.
On the eve of the second anniversary of the biggest terrorist attack ever against the United States, Soldiers of the 101st countered with their own attack, capturing 79 suspected terrorists.
Preemption.

Thanks for posting this.
Of course the lying left wing lunatics who control our media, and the rats in congress will ignore this good news.

Grampa Dave, did you see the news coming out of the Iraqi press? They don't like the way our press is misrepresenting them and are doing some good work.
They want to bring joy to Iraq after all the doom and gloom from Saddam and Western/Arab media:

So these jihadis didn't "fight to the death"? Didn't they want their virgins?

I'm not expert on Army organization, but this struck me as kinda weird:
and Pathfinder Companys 6th Battalion led the charge
Since when do companies have 6 battalions? Or is that some unique nomenclature applicable to Pathfinder units?

They got a preview of what those "virgins" looked like!
To: XJarhead
Pathfinder Company is in 6th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment. Only Pathfinder company in the US Army.
Poor word order.
To: XJarhead
They had 525 extra guys and a headquarters detachment just sitting around so they decided to give them some OJT?

Wonder if the 101st's Eagles got to make a genuine Air Assault insertion (rappelling from Blackhawks)...
Their counterparts in the 82nd jumped into Iraq during GW#1 -- from trucks!

Note to self: Dummy! Read the article!!!
Before dawn, six Chinooks were filled with infantrymen and a small team of engineers from 326th Engineer Battalion. The choppers landed on the outskirts of the camp.
They walked in!
(Where's the fun in that...)

So these jihadis didn't "fight to the death"? Didn't they want their virgins? It took 'em a week to clean up the sight and put out the story. Perhaps a few jihadists didn't walk away.
Amnesty Int'l's saddened.
