Hi, Howlin! I am monitoring Fox News. They have had some good coverage, as well as some funny stuff this morning.

Heck no! I am leaving no later than 11 am.

I was just outside, thinking that I wish I could mark the trees that would fall, if any do! Pines. Man, they are swaying today!
It's raining and "breezy" here. And cool.

LOL! Yes...pretty funny.

Dear pgkdan,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you as we prepare for whatever blow we take.
On Sunday, when they were predicting maybe a Category 4 marching right up the Chesapeake Bay, we were making evacuation plans (I live in a little from the western shore of the bay), so we're actually upbeat in our current preparations.
I set up my generator yesterday, worked like a charm. Enough juice to keep the freezer, the fridge, and the sump pump going.
The last one likely being crucial.

that sand has to hurt! yes it does, i've felt it just during a tstorm much less a hurricane.
To: pgkdan
Big news because the winds were only 15-20 mph! This is a pretty lousy omen IMHO. Seriously... in Oklahoma City... 15 to 20 mph wind is normal. I saw a Fox reporter this morning standing in the rain with measured wind at 50mph. We have those days in OKC without having hurricanes or tornados.

That's because, if you look very closely, those photos behind the president have FR logos in the bottom corners.Ha! I happen to know somebody that works at the White House and they DO look at FR every single day!

Looks good so far, but I'm not looking forward to this afternoon. My animals are already acting spacey!
