As they should get a lot of emails about Jeff's pants. That was hysterical. We'll be seeing that one for days, months, maybe even years.

One of my best friends lives in Hampton. Are you near the Willis Church Yard area?
Buckroe Beach was THE beach when I was growing up. My family is in Richmond & sister in Northern VA.
May God bless everyone in the path.

"Shep is on now *drool* and he just said reporters are the dumbest people on earth."
Now that's why I like Fox. They have a sense of humor!

"I'm in Georgia. Georgia has never experienced a hurricane, ever."
The worst I've seen here was some nasty weather from that storm of the century in the 90s. Our power was out for 3 days from the ice storms.

Repeating the 3 pm edt position, 35.4 n, 76.6 w. Movement toward, northwest near 20 mph. Maximum sustained winds, 95 mph. Minimum central pressure, 959 mb. Yep, it'll begin to weaken (not to downplay 50-75 MPH winds) from here. Fortunately the strengthening folks were warning about during the last 36 hours never panned out. I suspect that will spare a great deal of property damage.
To: Joe Hadenuf
Winds here are a gentle 4 mph, with 7 mph gust, a rather balmy on-shore pacific breeze, visibility is about 25 miles, it's 72 degrees and quite sunny, but a little on the chilly side Hear that????
That's a BIG BRONX CHEER to ya!

"Isabel moving inland, made landfall at 1 pm near drum inlet, "

To: Howlin

CNN also reported it "wasn't safe" to be up in a Manhattan skyscraper during this. total nonsense.
