Do you support "domestic partnerships"?

Arnold was invited also, but didn't have the guts to respond.
Other speakers have included:
Ted Hayes, conservative homeless activist
Dan Gifford, director of "Waco, Rules of Engagement"
Geoff Metcalf, talk show host
Dr. James Hirsen, Constitutional scholar, 2A expert, NewsMax
columnist
J.J. Johnston, publisher of Sierra Times
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder of B.O.N.D
Shawn Steel, past chairman of the CA Republican Party
Payton Quigley, author of "Armed and Female"
and the very impresive list of fine conservatives goes on but no Rnold!

Good for the GOA... I hope they don't regret it when Bustamante shows up to take the last few guns that Californians still own.

Thanks for posting the info, Mr.B., and for putting up with the other discussions appearing on this thread.
Is there anything a governor could do to improve the CCW issuance method in CA? I wouldn't want it to get worse, but in the current climate of CA, can any positive change happen (other than the veto of bad legislation)?
It seems nearly impossible to get a "shall-issue" law here.

Meant to ping you to this post.

Just remember that Bustabudget is totally to the left of Arnold on the 2cnd Amendment. Either politicians trust people or they don't. In the last 30 years, California has enacted law after law that restrict victims from defending themselves against criminals. As for California's existing gun laws, some of them (CCW) are implemented in a racist manner. But Schwarzenegger supports them.
Senator McClintock received a "100%" rating from GOA in 2001 & 2002.

Nope, I don't. But Arnold doesn't believe that is the government's business, true. He does, however, oppose gay marraige and also supports the Boy Scouts' right to determine whether or not they allow gay leaders... he is NOT a hard-liberal on gay issues.
And California is the most liberal state in the country and only becoming more so. When was the last time an anti-gay candidate was elected through a state-wide election?

Good for McClintock... 100% on guns... I actually like to see that.
But, darling... he CAN'T WIN.
He couldn't win last year.
Simon couldn't win last year against the most hated governor California has ever seen.
Republicans 35%, Democrats 45%, Independents 15%.

Do you support benefits for "domestic partners" mandated by law?
To: Tamsey
Arnold "didn't have the guts to respond"? Oh, please...
OK, then, huevos.
Something is missing because of all the events and invitations where Arnold is simply MIA...

His people know that Tom would take him apart in a debate without prepared questions, but I'm sure you are really on top of things being 2000 miles away.

Now Steve, don't be too harsh on old Tamsey. After all he probably is right on top of California news back there in PA!

To: Tamsey
Tamsey.
Listen to the words that I am typing.
Here's the election, from a 2A point of view, in a nutshell:
Gun Grabber "A"
Gun Grabber "B"
Tom McClintock
Does that make it any clearer to you, schatz?
Please don't respond saying Arnold is pro-gun because you just need to follow the links I gave you earlier.
Unless you think GOA and GOC are pro-Bustamante...
I know it boggles the mind, but please give it a moment of consideration. Gun Grabber "A" wants your guns and my guns and everyone else's guns. Gun Grabber "B" does too. The only difference is how. And there's Tom. You make the call!
;-)

Are you talking about me? I'm the lightning rod around here. I am the one suggesting you find a mountaintop to defend. Have you examined your own shortcomings?
