I had heard about this report and saw a quick blurb on FNC. Thanks for the extended quote!
People mistakenly believe that just because it's computer operated there can be no glitches or mishaps. The program only works as good as it's construction....

-What's Jim March trying to do on this? I thought he was a CCW reformer? -
In response to Jim March's request for records in Alameda County, California pertaining to Diebold:
http://www.equalccw.com/alamedaprarresponse.pdf "Please be advised that the county will not provide the information you requested...
"The County will not allow access or disclose any information regarding the Diebold election system as any information relating to that system is exempted from the PRA (Public Records Act)...The system provided by Diebold Election Systems Inc. ("DESI") is a proprietary system that is recognized as such in the contract between the County and DESI...
"...The County contends that the official information privelege in section 1040 of the Evidence Code is applicable because the information requested was acquired by the County in confidence and the County is required to maintain its confidentiality. Any copying or disclosing of such information would violate the license agreements..."

Did you listen to Rush today? He and a black voter did a test which proved that race ain't the problem.
It kind of looks like the dimwits want the so called minorities to look stupid.
The caller was great.

Yep. I love to see Ward Connerly in debates on television.
The look on his proud face is filled with indignation that an entire political party labels him stupid and in need of federal assistance for things like punching holes in cardboard.
Democrats cheat.

In the thread that said one of these machines (Diebold) phoned home in the middle of an election, I posted a link to a proposed bill that will require all machines to have a audit paper trail.
This is the link
http://holt.house.gov/issues2.cfm?id=5996 It is sponsored by a dem, but that is no reason not to use those guys. A few Republicans have signed on but not enough.
I live in Illinois, guess how many Republican votes get counted here. The last Governor's race was a joke. Our dem representative got a whopping 70% of the vote. Our ES&S voting machine company is in bed with the dems. The dems even got a court to overturn the county clerk's recommendation not to use ES&S.
We need a way to do a recount and these new machines give us no option. So I signed on in support of Holt's proposed bill.
