But we both have to work within the system to make it function, otherwise we are lost.

Of course, it is precisely my point that the Left is, in reality if not in outward trapping, operatiing outside of and against the system.

Thank you for a well considered reply.

Thanks. I want to say that what both the left and the right do is inside, and some outside the system. The ability to push for change is what makes our country great. I personally think that someday in our lifetimes we may acheive less abortion than we ever had before it was made legal -- because of the efforts of moral conservatives to alert people to its destructive impact on our society. That comes from pushing against it both legally and with reasoned arguments. The same goes for the left: for example, the left alerted us to our mistakes in working conditions and child labor, etc... Maybe we have too much restriction on what employers can do now, but things got better. Pushing for change like you're doing is VERY positive, I think. For one thing, it gives counter balast to Hillary's cries that we're too conservative. Harumph!

The problem is that the sky doesn't fall all at once, but in bits and pieces.

The Republicans lawyers from the Florida election were so much smarter than what the dems had. I'd like to see some of them get involved in this.Ted Olson is out, but Beck and some of the others were really impressive. It's the only time it was a pleasure to listen to an attorney speak.

The point you raised about judges cancelling an election is the most serious. I hadn't heard that take on it. It is the most important argument I've heard against this insanity. If allowed to stand then the country is lost. They can argue with the outscome, but can not be allowed to cancel an election because they may not like the outcome.

You are melodramatic.
The looks like orchestration from BJ and the 9th.
This has far-reaching consequences for 2004.
The whole country is watching.

Watch for the licenses for illegals and motor voter to reach epic media saturation by the end of the week, and this will look like a deliberate smear by Dems to allow illegals to vote in California.

Watch for a lawsuit to be filed in March (when the voter will supposedly take place) challenging the legality and integrity of the vote based on illegal participation. Arnold has nothing to lose by filing, and the Dems have everything to lose by being exposed.

This will drag through 2004, and they are done. All of them.

In other funny news, the Dems folded in Texas and not a peep from the national media about it. BJ and the 9th stole their thunder.

Here's to redistricting The Queen from the House.

The two-party system will go out of business, and the Dems and Republicans will be down-sized.

It's a cycle.

They will be replaced by Greens, Independents, and whatever unorganized group has the least amount of money.

Cruz tried to appoint himself Gov back when he scheduled the recall
{and tried to omit the 2nd question: who will replace Gray};
now this!

Welcome the Banana Republic of California!
