Did Sweden ever nail the perp who killed PM Palme?

If they don't catch him, I will continue to suspect a professional hit. (A pro would presumably be long gone by now.)
To: Shermy
Talk about irony.
Gell, all you have to do is Adobe Photoshop that guy in the bottom photo looking at the newspaper extra edition. Just give him a blue baseball cap and lengthen his back hair.

I've read the Palme killing was a professional job.
To: AmericanInTokyo
I had to look twice at the man looking at the poster.

Sure sounds professional. Someone had to tip the killer off that she would be there too! His looks are probably so altered by now that he will difficult to identify by the average person.

Swedish? Russian mob hit job? Did she insult Finns? About the Euro...or was the Euro election the perfect distraction and red herring?...If professional, why hit her in the middle of a department store ...unless the perp knew he would be far, far away...Moscow?
Might as well speculate...Doesn't look like a crazy, at least the dissheveled sort.

I think it was appalling that no one tried to stop the stabbing, no one helped her until after he was gone....dozens of people watched this guy commit murder & no one tried stop him to subdue him afterwards.........shameful.

Maybe the fellow in the bottom picture is scratching himself 'cause of post-haircut itchiness???

Apparantly the police suspects that the knife used to kill Lindh was stolen from a nearby hardware shop the same day.
Add in the fact that Lindhs visit to NK was 100% unplanned, and it gets kind of hard to believe that the killer is just some junkie angry with politicians in general (which media here in sweden seems to want us to think).

The guy in the pix looks military. Almost like he grew his hair long in anticipation of the action and could get a haircut to disguise himself after the act.
He also looks like he has another pair of pants under those cargo pants.
This was clearly premeditated.
