When Begin says that it is a matter of National Security, everyone fell silent.
When Sharon says the same today, Bush says don't expel Arafat.
I do not understand how America can fight a war against terrorism, and expect Israel to live with a terrorist in their midst.
If bin Laden was hiding in northern Canada, don't you think we would have captured him by now? And, if the Canadians would not let us, wouldn't we have launched a war against Canada?

So that's why Begin's diplomatic skills were so important?
My response would not have be so informed or eloquent.
I would have delivered my reaction to Carter with a simple,
"Kiss my a$$!"

The Nation of Israel must rid God's Mountains of the evil blasphemy that presently so squalidly squats and bemanures them -- or continue to pay the awful cost of both tolerating the intolerable -- and spitting in God's face.
Golan and Gaza and Sumaria and Judaea must for ever be included within the borders of Greater Israel -- and Yerushalayim be its eternal capital!

My family operated a small coal mining venture in the late 1970s. Jimmy Carter's committment to energy independence including putting 90 percent of the country's small coal companies out of business with federal regulations.
