When your enemies are in a state of permanent outrage, and when your enemies are sworn to your destruction, there is no room for them to ramp up their outrage to any newer, higher, level. Once you have reached the point of sending your children to their deaths to kill your neighbors' children, what higher level of psychosis is there for you to aspire to?

There is no purpose to considering Arab outrage in making security decisions.

At this point, Israel must make unilateral decisions based on their own security requirements. They must unilaterally choose a defensible border they are prepared to live with, and seal it. End of story. The remaining arab regions must reunite themselves with their arab neighbors for their own survival, the remaining west bank territory with Jordan, and whatever remains of Gaza with Egypt. There must be no cross-border access to Israel until the wars are a distant memory.

Future attacks from the arab side of the line should be answered by annexing the offending territory.

What are the arabs going to do? Get outraged? Blow up Israeli children?
