I think your right, Peterson cannot probably fathom that he won't get away with this. He's gotten away with everything else in his life. Frankly, if some of the things we have heard that he said on tape are true, he's a pretty stupid criminal. He acted like he was above all this crap going on around below him. Laci? Laci who? Incredible.

Scott Peterson of Denver Country Club Perfect. Just perfect.
Alas, the epilogue will never be written: "Scott Peterson, formerly of Modesto Country Club [or whatever that club was that threw him out], carded the final round to finish neck-and-neck with O.J. Simpson, of Miami Country Club, and Robert Blake, an amateur."

Guess what! Lee was on today in the other Peterson murder trial! I passed by the TV and saw him, but I just couldn't bear to turn up the volume and hear his fractured English and the testimony (no doubt) of the most miniscule details.
What if Dr. Lee mixes up his Petersons??!?

Just heard Shep report that the Defense team is still trying to tie Laci's murder to a Satanic cult...apparently the team has gotten a hold of a coat that belongs to a reported cult member who has been spouting some crap about being involved in the Peterson murders...defense is having it analized.

Ah that would be "Donnie's technicolor your dreaming if this is gonna get you off....dreamcoat", right?

Ha! Many years ago my mother in law bought all of us daughter in laws front row seats to that musical...and we all said, "ewww, Donnie Osmond, this will be so dorky!"
And it wasn't. In fact it was the most incredible, inspiring experience! Especially when the Chicago Children's choir sang. (made up of many children from school choirs in Chicagoland) Donnie sang so beautifully, and all of us girls who thought Mom in law was cheesy for getting us the tickets were swooning!

I saw it too!! Donnie was fantastic in that role.

Dev I read an article yesterday on that stupid coat thing. It WAS analyzed and they found NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING!! Even other Lawyers, Law Professors, Ethicicists, Satanic cult experts, Detectives who had worked on the Salida murders ALL discounted it and called it a "reach"!! Some outright said Geragos is just throwing it out to see if anything sticks. It's simply another chunk of horsethit!!

Henry Lee is getting to really irritate and irk me. He has become a professional "actor" with nothing but shenanigans for his "demonstrations". I recall his little "test" in the Simpson case. He put a puddle of red something on a board lying flat. Behind the board was a white sheet or screen. He slammed his fist down on the board and of course the liquid flew up on the screen. His dramatic statement: "See the Bluh spattr - somezing not right"!! For THAT idiocy he was likely paid thousands of dollars. The Jury, most of whom were so stupid considered that bombshell evidence of excupation I guess. One old Juror on the Jury, a black lady, couldn't even learn the name of the Juror who sat beside her for 10 months straight. YUP, they understood the DNA evidence alright. It's about time some crackerjack Prosecutor made him look as foolish as a lot of his demonstrations and slaughtered English explanations are!! I would LOVE to know where to email Dr. Lee. I have looked but not come up with an actual way to contact him through email. Isn't it about time that "Professional" Forensic Pathologists and Criminologists were called on the Prostitution of their knowledge?

Oh.My.God. It does!! And I MISSED IT! I passed by a TV that showed him testifying, but it was on mute and I never stopped to watch the testimony! Argggh!! (splatter, splatter)
Yes, it appears he used ketchup. Gotta admit, I guess he does earn his money sometimes. Hey, at first, when I read "blood diluted with urine", I thought THAT was what he used for his demonstration!
I like the part where the article says, "Lee had little to say about the 7 lacerations on the back of the victim's head."
"Lacewashuns no importan. Ketchup importan."
IMO, there is absolutely NO WAY that woman could have gotten 7 lacerations to the back of her head by falling down the stairs. What was she doing--going down the stairs backwards, doing handstands? And the blood... she coughed it all up. Yeah. Hey, I thought blood that was aspirated came up as a PINK froth--not like that deep red I saw in that picture! At least, the couple of times I saw pics of a victim who'd had blood and air mixed in their lungs, and apparent aspiration, I saw a pink foam around the victim--and NO WAY was it a deep red like in that picture!

Oh, stop! A coat. To go with "Laci's shoes" which were supposedly found down the street?
Now if they'd found a raincoat that was Scott's size, that I might buy.
To: Canadian Outrage
Well, look on the bright side: at least for the Michael Peterson case, they made Henry eat watered-down ketchup.
Or did he inhale it?
"Kechup vewy potent weapon. Vewy potent."
To: Jackie-O
yeah, stupidity that defense is going all the way back to a closed case per the Modesto Bee Sunday news... But it is his doing to try to convince potential jurors that scaughty is innocent... I don't know if the judge has to believe this though even during the prelim?.... ;o)

"I think Scott himself will prevent there being any settlement of this case w/o a trial. I don't think Scott really fathoms that HE MIGHT LOSE. I think he wants to pull out all the stops to correct this "misunderstanding"; IMO, he hasn't given up his fantasy that he will one day soon be back out on the golf course, then over to Amber's for a quickie, then on to his luxurious home, then traveling and enjoying life..."
Perhaps the Peterson's need to take some of the money they are spending on Garagos and hire me to do some reality therapy. I'm waiting for the call! :)

Regarding the silly trenchcoat....I got home last night just in time for the Greta legal panel. Did they discuss the possibility of fingerprint evidence? No! They discussed the trenchcoat. How bizarre.

Reality therapy? No, I think reality would affect the Petersons the way clorox affects houseplants. Scott's actions have probably given them a bigger dose of reality than they've had in decades. Any more reality, and they'd melt the way the Wicked Witch of the West melted!

Henry Lee: "Eeeff de speeeet feeeet you must aqueeeet"
To: Velveeta
EEEEEE! Well, no one will ever know if the "speeet" was there with the blood, b/c according to Lee, "authowities no test... not my job to test..."
OTOH, maybe they could test it NOW! Spit is................ well, you know..... it's (ugh) viscous.... bet they could find it if it's there.
I got thinking about what CO said about the "prostitution" of these "experts". Boy, is that word appropriate. I'd say Henry Lee is one of those high-class call experts.
