I love OSU... If Clarett hurts the program because of his lack of judgement, maturity, honesty and integrity and it results in OSU getting its NC stripped... Maurice better use all those thousands for bodyguards....OSU fans arent the nicest bunch when in a tizzy.

They aren't getting their NC taken away. Settle down.

Reports out there that he took money before the game against Miami... Thus making him ineligable for the game. OSU played him, forfeiture, stripped NC...
Im not panicking, im more saddened from the whole thing. Money destroys people and if Clarett plays his cards just right, he may salvage a career for himself.

Was just listening to the news on the radio. Claretts new mouthpiece, Jim Brown, is trying to talk him into going to Grambling.
Reminds me of Don King and Mike Tyson.

He will probably not play for OSU again. Your title is safe.

Clarett ignores a role model like Marcus Allen and instead opts for Jim Brown. Jim Brown already accused Andy Geiger, OSU Athletic Dir of being a "slave master". Nice PR move Maurice...

"Plays his cards just right"? All he has to do is wait until he's eligible and make millions in the NFL.

Reports? Or wild rumors? Wild rumors is my hope. It wouldnt suprise me if NCAA let OSU go easy for how they harshly they dealt with Clarett from the beginning. But you never know, the NCAA is a bunch of a-holes looking to make examples out of anyone they can...
NCAA: "NCAA holds the right to make money off of the players. Any player who makes money will be punished as well as their school just because..."

What a nice guy is Mr. Clarett, possibly screws his whole team while trying to feather his own nest. He should fit right in at the Nat'l Felons League.

All he has to do is wait until he's eligible and make millions in the NFL. Playing his cards right is relative... Playing my cards right means to just stay the course. To Clarett, its not doing anything incredibly stupid like getting shot by his thug "friends" or what not. I put nothing past this moron.

And jump to the CFL in the meantime.

As a OSU fan, I have to say that Maurice had about the best opportunity as a player, coming in as a power player to a good team with a great coach. Not many people ever get such a chance. If Clarett decides to leave OSU, I'm sure I won't be the only fan to be telling him to make sure the door doesn't hit him in the @$$ when he leaves.
OSU fans aren't the nicest bunch when in a tizzy.
We just have high standards for our football players, both on and off the field.

I say good riddance to Clarett, all colleges ought to get rid of players of that type.
I was watching MNF last night, I was a bit surprised that the announcers brought up the woes of one Tampa Bay running back, awaiting court appearances on beating up his wife and babysitter. (allegedly of course LOL)

I'm not calling you out on this, quite the opposite: I'm genuinely concerned for the program.

The NC won't be taken. All the stuff he has received was after the NC and over the summer break.
To: Wolfie
Not neccessarily. He's injury prone.
To: Fudd
I wanted him gone last season after the whole SI thing.
To: Bikers4Bush
All the more reason to sit it out until he can be paid for his services.
