For any non-military types, I thought you would be interested in the military definition of "top secret": that material which has the potential to cause EXCEPTIONALLY GRAVE DAMAGE to national security.

Not really. These launches are planned years in advance, with only minor wiggle room on the exact time and date. I'm just glad to see my former customer/employer (NRO) get some good news for a change...

The launches aren't Top Secret, and sometimes the nature of the payload is not either, but the success/failure usually isn't announced and exact details of what the payload can and will be doing is.

This is the last Titan 4B [Titan-Centaur] launch. Interesting to see what the AF will do for heavy-lift with Centaur from now on.

CNN says that the satellite can detect individual audio cell phone calls from space.. Wow! I better watch what I say to my hubby on the cell phone...LOL!

The Atlas V and Delta IV both have heavy lift capability. A lot of Centaur technology is on the upper stage of the Atlas V.
