I guess that it takes longer time to stabilize Iraq than was originally estimated. Iraqi occupation is costing a lot of money. N. Korea and Iran are both accelerating their nuclear program. Military contingency could come sooner than U.S. has expected.

N. Korea may try to go nuclear before the next presidential election because U.S. government is preoccupied with election politics. Any clear indication of that would force the U.S. military response.

According to Jimmy, the NK's have no other choice, unless the USA gives US tax-payer money to NK.

I think it's more because we just don't have enough troops left for rotation and I don't think it would be good for morale to lreave those kids there for 4 - 10 years.

Hope so. And I hope they need troops bad then maybe someone will listen to me when I ask for a green card so I can enlist and go. There's lots of Canadians disgusted with the Liberal gov't and would be more then happy to enlist with the US and fight for it.
