Excellent:
Some of the many facets of concern that need to be addressed.
Sunset provisions must be on all LAWS and on all Regulations.
Government funded education must include knowledge of Civics - with graduation only possible with full mastery of understanding.
Federal involvement to be limited by the EXACT provisions in the Constitution.
All reformist judges must be eliminated.
All threats or modification attempts to the Bill of Rights must be eliminated and those involved should suffer charges of treason.
No withholding of anything by the federal government.
Repeal every single AMENDMENT added after 1912. (Think about this one).Replace the Federal reserve with the Gold Standard.
Elimate all racist programs (diversity et al.)
Limit federal spending to less than 10% of the GDP.
Limit state spending to less than 25% of each state GDP.
Require all congressman and Senators to do their own 1040 income tax forms.
Remove the UN from New York to "Federal City" where it belongs. It does not belong in a individual state as the UN does not deal with individual states. They deal with the Federal Government, so therefore the UN must be located outside of the US soil. That would be on Federal land.
No tenure for US Senators.
No government pensions for anyone who works for the federal government (elected or unelected)for a period longer than 20 years.
Media made to answer and pay for propigana and lies that are printed. The fees to be large and the penalties to affect the CEO's which would include substantial jail time.
Citizenship to be valued and given and permits the citizen to accept the benefits and the liabilities of this nation.
Non-citizens to suffer through no benefits and any liabilities of this nation.
Crime punishment to meet statutory guidelines, and never to be plea barganed.
Specific limitaions that define what is unusual punishment.
Elimitation of the IRS.
ELimitation of all federal government agencies not directly involved in COMMARCE and DEFENSE.
Recognition of political philosphies that run counter to the principles that this country is founded on and then active and positive attempts to discredit these organizations.

Very rational, especially the flat tax. The fed has grown overlarge because it is fed too much $.

Good.
Ever since I read what Ed Guillespe allegedly said in the Manchester, NH papers, I have been advocating a strong conservative caucus that would include conservative-GOP, Constitution Party and Libertarians members. I suspect that such a caucus could represent as much as 40% of those who might vote GOP. Such a caucus would need to let the GOP know that it will "use the nuclear option" if certain candidates were not accepted and key reforms were not made.
The GOP cannot succeed without conservatives.
1. Does such a caucus exist already? If so, how can we make it stronger?
2. If one does not exist, or cannot be made stronger, I suggest that we start one here on the FreeRepublic.

"There is no way to throw a switch and take American back to the 19th Century short of a new American Revolution, and that will not occur." A second Civil War is coming; one that will make the first one look like a Sunday-school picnic. The question is not "if" but "when?"
I am not promoting a second Civil War. I hope to be dead and buried before it begins. It will not be nice.
Anyone who cannot see it coming has a severe lack of vision.

"Who will be fighting who?" I'm not sure. Nor am I sure how it will begin.
Some possibilities:
(1) Another "Rodney King" riot breaks out--and spreads, with victims shooting back.
(2) One anti-Second Amendment law too many.
(3) Some part of "Atzlan" attempts secession.
(4) A border war with Mexico (ranchers vs Mexican nationals) acts as a trigger.
(5) A "Crazy Eddie" event, such as a nationwide truckers' strike or vast and continuing black-out, trigger 'civil unrest'.
Just some possibilities that come to mind.

You have much, much more imagination than "vision".
I don't see a civil war coming down the horizon, but can imagine lots of scenarios where temporary civil unrest breaks out. If we had a massive attack on our power grid - severe enough to have much of the country without power for weeks instead of the few days the northeast was powerless- I for one wouldn't want to be stuck at home without a firearm.

I'm not good at organizing such things. I prefer to observe and comment, however, if you would like to spearhead such an endeavor, I would he glad to help.

To: OXENinFLA
Too many after the 16th deal with civil rights issues, hard to eliminate and do no real harm. Women and Blacks should have equality and the right to vote.
