Tennessee is beautiful, vacationed in Gatlinburg, near Knoxville.
Saw the "Vols" football team play, awesome stadium.
Smoky Mts. are gorgeous! Took a ride on the tram:

Presidential election 2000: Bush wins Tennessee.
The folks in Tennessee knew better, Gore's home state didn't even vote for him.

Oh no!! This just makes me sick and angry! What kind of a sick person would do that to a poor defenseless animal??

I will be praying that the Vet is wrong and that Weinie will be home very soon. She has been through so much.

Thank's Mama_Bear. Tennesse is an interesting state. Until I read the article, I hadn't realized how much Tenn has played in my families life.

The first holiday that I ever spent away from home was in Gatlinburg - absolutely gorgeous country. My ex-husband was stationed at Millington, right side of Memphis. When we lived there, you couldn't walk past a store that didn't have a picture of Elvis and Priscilla in it.

My sister was born in Jackson. Jackson is the the home of Cato's and it is also where my Daddy lost his shirt-tail and became a pilot.

My niece, who had graduated with from Georgia Tech in the top 10% of her class, chose Vanderbilt University to take her training as a PA. My nephew (the one in the Navy) graduated from Vandy also.
