You're doing a what all of us should do on that day--gather together in prayer and remembrance in whaterver form is apropriate.

Check out what we will be doing on the 11th of September in Lafayette, CA. We have always marked the 11th of each month on a freeway overpass here in the Bay Area.

Excellent! thank you hopefully more will be held across the country, post pictures if you take some, we will post some as well if taken. Do you expect a big draw? To me it doesnt really matter, I would be out there by myself if no one else showed, fortunately we have a good crew out here of faithful patriots.

We do expect a lot of people as we had about 250 people last year. You might want to think about a candlelight vigil as this is the highlight of our event.

Do you know of any group on the East Coast or in your state that marks the 11th of Sept. with a highway overpass tribute and rally? It was the common thing to do after 9-11-01 and it seems an appropriate way to mark the anniversary date/

No I have not heard of them out here, although I have seen the flags up on the overpasses for quite some time now. So far we have a decent small gathering together for Thursday.

Last night I got to Medford Square about 6:15 (traffic was sluggish) When I had arrived, Yev,Electricstrawberry,Rich, and Steve were already there the earliest at 4. Yev put some red, white & blue candles out and we all had flags and a few signs, soon after I arrived I was pleased with the response from passer by's we got many thanks and waves from the motorists. curious that one vehicle pulled up with a couple young guys in it that asked "is that today?", and a few kids walking through were giggling at first when they saw us with the flags but once they read the signs they said "oh, yeah", kind of disturbing but it shows how quickly life can move if you arent paying attention. Anyhow this was a reunion of sorts for the folks that would gather leading up and through the IRAQ war to counter the liberal opposition. I am so glad we decided to go out for this I would have stayed until 9/12 12:01 am. We got favorable response from the police driving through "good work guys", "your signs are appreciated" were a few. Afterwards we stopped into Bocceli's for some pizza and discussed things up and coming September 28th Copley Square, we will show to confront the unwashed Answer and thier drones. As always, thank you my good Patriot friends, Freep on....

Congrats to all the Medford Square Patriots who never forgot and won't forget! Do you have pictures to post?

We were somewhat apprehensive out here in the Bay Area that people wanted to 'move on' after the events of 9-11. We went ahead with our plans on a major freeway overpass with overwhelming response. After 5 hours of constant horn blaring I kept hearing 'horns' for many hours after the event! The CHP (CA. Hwy. Patrol) told us not to wave the flags at motorists, but the local Lafayette Police (after asking who the veterans were) told us we could do anything we wanted once the CHP left. We flew approx. 80 flags across El Curtola overpass and blsted patriotic tunes across the bridge. The only downside was we had maybe 50-70 people vs. 250 last year. But we made up for it in passion and everyone thought it very worthwhile. NEVER FORGET.
