I believe this article is a hate crime.
That notwithstanding, this should be fun to watch...

The history of Amazing Grace fits in with all of this as well.
Regardless of the history, I love it, gives me tingles, black or white(Scots are white, aren't they?).

Well, well, now we have "Hebrides" singing psalms from Scotland, so who are these "Hebrides", sounds alot like "Hebrews".
The Scots are "Hebrews"?

Ruff's next announcement: Harlem Jazz brought to American by Polish polka musicians.
Seriously, I can understand why this would be threatening to one's paradigm. Never knew the Scottish burning cross angle, though I'm of Gaelic descent myself.

Damn, with this Jesse can't be far behind with protests, riots, and then Bro Al with law suits. This should prove a hoot.

The Hebrides? Isn't that where Donnell, Lord of Skye, King of Norway came from?
And if it's Norway, then we are talking the Northernmost part of Norway, where the "real Norwegians" come from, and in America it's OK to call the Lapplanders!
Now, there we have it ~ the "true roots" of Jazz, Blues, Soul and Gospel music ~ the Sami

The burning cross is a declaration of war!
Most Scots gave up the practice centuries ago when the English started handing out the death penalty for doing it!

Some people attach a great shame in slaves learning something from their masters. Not all masters were pigs, and many taught slaves to read, write and taught them the christian faith which oddly enough tended to make masters free slaves anyway.
"But the Scots are like anyone, and there were many who were abolitionists and who set up schools for black children after emancipation."

Well, the south is largely Scotch-Irish (Scotsmen from Scotland by way of the Ulster Plantation in Northern Ireland), and the ties are there, but I'm not so sure about gospel music. If so, then the Presbyterian churches in Northern Ireland should have the same singing style mentioned. Blue grass music and the Virginia Reel may have their origins from Scotland, but I think gospel music is a stretch.
St. Andrew's Cross (of Scotland) is on the Confederate Flag.

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
