I am glad you finally found peace in your life. My Atheism didn't stem from anything dramatic, but I too saw the contradictions and always questioned why faith didn't give me the serenity that so many claim to find. In fact, I felt quite the opposite, feeling that something wasn't quite right. When I acknowledged my Atheism it was as if a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders.

Now, I will be the first to admit, Atheism is not for everyone and as with any faith, or lack there of in our case, you must practice what feels right in your heart. Atheism was that for me.

Thank you for sharing your story.
