Maybe this time they don't have the money to buy their way out like they did at Tora Bora.

Aw come on! Isn't it about time to using that MOAB?I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing how that thing works. Have all the good guys back off about 10 miles, and lay one in there. Bet ya that would take the wind out of their sails.

I love after-battle reports. Mid-battle reports make me queasy. Remember the last time we had the Taliban "surrounded" in the hills?
To: blam
Also meant to point out the obvious, that the concentration of enemy forces and the group's willingness to stand and fight rather than melt away, must have our guys wondering if OBL is in the house.

It wouldn't hurt for us to look weak and disorganized in Afganistan. Iraq can be flypaper and Afganistan can be trap. Islamist, with their mentality stuck in the 12th century can be cunning but not necessarly smart for the long term. Perhaps they will mass for a banzi-jehadi charge. That would be a good MOAB moment.

"Islamist, with their mentality stuck in the 12th century can be cunning but not necessarly smart for the long term." Keep in mind that some of these loonies considered Saddam a military genuis, 'nuff-said.

OBL's in Pakistan and has been since probably before ToraBora hit the headlines.

Gee, if you've had the inside scoop all this time, why don't you rush over to CIA and let them in on it. I think there might even be a reward for such hot info.

a good MOAB moment. LOL, that's rich.
