You have insulted FR,the state of California,America by spelling it Amerika, likened us to the Vichy French and insulted me by questioning if I had morals and stating I would vote for a member of Nambla if there was an R by his name.Really a remarkable evening of posts.Yes,I am outraged.

How many interviews can we plausably estimate Arnold has granted over the course of his life in America? 100, 500, 1000, or more? A more salient question comes to mind:
"How many people have paid 10 bucks a head to listen to Tom McClintock speak for two hours?"

And of course, there's the obvious obverse question ...
"How many people would pay 10 bucks a head to be EXCUSED from listening to Tom McClintock speak for two hours?"

He's probably sick and tired of answering that one dumb question. So what ? So what does this all boil down to ?
This race is only between two candidates; TWO ... Arnold and Cruz. The purist, HOLIER THAN THOU/MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN THOU types are a miniscule number of Cal. voters. Yet, they aren't so small, as to be totally irrilivent. They can be spoilers; maybe. Either way, it's still Arnold V Cruz. That's it. "Principles " won't keep the purists warm and happy, IF Cruz is elected. It's far better to be pragmantic and take even 1/4 of a loaf, than to turn one's nose up and take NONE .

I know what your next trick is. You're going to drop a hint that he occasionally watches R-rated movies. Don't even go there, son. Don't even think about it.

I don't see why the two things are mutually exclusive - yes, it was 25 years ago and he didn't consider that he would one day be going into politics, and YES, it was a long time ago and he doesn't even remember giving the interview...I must still be missing something, 'cause I don't see why both things can't be true.

Just observing a long list of diverse facts and reaching exceedingly logical conclusions about the facts and trends.Sounds like you've watched one too many episodes of Star Trek.

As a bodybuilder and as a movie star, Arnold has probably given thousands, if not MILLIONS of interviews, during his life...and NOT just in America.
Sanity ... yes, I do tend to add that to threads. LOL

You're going to drop a hint that he occasionally watches R-rated movies. Errr, ixnay on the ooviemay ated-R-ray. We were going to hold that one in reserve to use as a counter when the 1966 conviction for spitting on the sidewalk comes out in the press.

HI ! :-)
To: ambrose
It's rather easy to understand
how a person of your
uuhhhh . . . . perceptiveness
would confuse my analyses of California sociology, demographics and individual and group psychology vis a vis Arnold
would be equal to watching too many episodes of Star Trek.
I think we may have found the problem, group.
The computational patterns in the neural net do not match the complexities in the electorate . . . as simple as they seem to be, they are still obviously complex enough . . .

Both things ARE true, but the HOLIER THAN THOU crowd, who imagine themselves god, don't care. They're the ones MISSING something; not you.

As long as there's no interstate mattress-tag ripping, I think we can explain that one away.
