This is as big as 9/11 - and could be far more devastating, DEPENDING ON HOW OUR CULTURE RESPONDS.
I am hoping these three women end up thinking the Dixie Chicks got off easy, for the sake of our society.
If we, as a people, accept this, we are infinitely farther down the slippery slope to total decadence than even I thought.

How can that be? Isn't Madge worth like $400 million? She is the second richest person in Britain (next to Queen Liz)

I guess that I'm not too worried about it because I choose not to watch that crap or have anything to do with queers for that matter.

I clicked on your link. GACK. I'm not sure what's more repulsive - two women in an open-mouth kiss on national television, or the fact that one of the women is Madonna. I'm leaning toward the latter.

"it turns guys on." Where does this idea come from? I've heard it suggested repeatedly on TV for years--even ads suggest it now; women I know shake their heads and say "what is it with you guys, anyway?" What can I say? I don't know a single, solitary man (or any married ones, either) who are turned on by such depravity.
I kept hearing Johnny Cash would "steal the show" last night--I skipped it anyway. I was doubly disturbed this morning by what I saw and what I learned about Cash's current condition.

Well, how you gonna know its disgusting unless you watch it.
Over and over again.

GOOD GRIEF!
Are we offending you in some way? If this thread is so bothersome to you, then perhaps it would behoove you to move on.
Moreover-- I would say 90% of us who are complaining DIDN'T watch MTV last night. We turned on the news this morning (and logged onto the net) and BOOM! Shoved down our throats.
Why don't you go do a shot or something? Eee Gads!
To: Servant of the Nine
It is not broadcast over the public airwaves, and you have no more room to bitch about it than democrats do to bitch about FreeRepublic. It is being shown all over the public airwaves today. I've seen it on every news channel, including the networks. I don't want to see it and click away every time they lead into the story now.
I wish the news media would ignore it. They're playing right into those disgusting washed-up, so-called "divas'" hands.

Gee, you're a little cranky today...what happened, your cable go out last night. We're just discussing a current event...because the pandering worked, and the smooches are all over the web, the TV news...and for the record, I didn't watch it (VMA) last night either. Chill...

"We turned on the news this morning" That is another thing I'm doing less of these days. If MTV is news then I don't need to be watching the news.

Servant, I'd just like to say that, while I already thought Aguilera was a skank, Britney broke my heart with that kiss. Ewwww...Madonna cooties...

HA! Well said.

I'm with you, and I'm a guy. There is nothing about a biologically malfunctional depravity that turns me on at all. It's just sick. And the sickos will climb up from beneath their sewer grates to defend it and attack you for being repulsed by it.
And you will be thus honorably defined by the gutter quality of your enemies.
