I thought the biggest supporters of "English only" were Hispanic citizens who came here legally. They know the burden they and their kids will have in this country if they do not develop a working knowledge of English. It should be pointed out to this segregationist latino group that the only one's they're representing are the illegal separatists who have invaded this state.

Why is the AP burying Bustamante's continued ties to MeCha?

I dont know but FOX mentioned it a couple of times yesterday I hope they keep it up.I'm still a little conflicted about voting for Arnold but the enemy of my enemy ....well you know.He may also be the govenator whether I vote for him or not.

But it's O.K for there man "Bustamante" to belong to MEChA a group just as racist as the Ku Klux Klan. If any other candidate in this recall had ever belonged to a group that preached "all for the white man and nothing for all others", they would be screaming bloody murder. What a bunch of hypocrites!

I don't think this is going to hurt him.

The kind of people who listen to "For the race, everything; outside the race, nothing" are a lock for Bustamante in any event.

After all, Arnold is, well, outside the race.

Nothing for him.

The League of United Latin American Citizens said the Austrian-born actor's position brings into question his commitment to Hispanics.

The League's position brings into question its commitment to America.

Exactly...there commitment is not to all of America but specifically to Central and South America...

They just don't get it. So tied up in their world of anger. Their anger would be better placed at their American hildagos, the democrat leaders that continue to keep them under their heels for their own career enhancing prospects, not necessarily the Hispanic furtunes and opportunity.

Holding Hispanics back is encouraging them not to learn English the language of opportunity, commerce, enterprise, and most important, freedom.

Bye Tom I will now suport Ahnold.:

"Davis, Bustamante and McClintock also were meeting with the California Nations Indian Gaming Association, which represents 57 tribal governments. The group will not endorse a candidate, but its members have become an influential political force capable of boosting campaign coffers."
