Isn't it interesting that in the malpractice suit, they already thought that Terri could live for 51 years? And once the money is awarded, she's not worth allowing those same 51 years? Sick, sick, sick!

His lawyers asked for $12 million for Terri's treatment and care, on the presumption that she would live another 51 years, and $4 million to compensate Michael for the loss of his wife. The jury found the doctor only partially responsible. In the end, the trial and the settlement netted Terri about $700,000 and Michael $300,000.


Also, I've seen another amount of $somewhere along the line of $7-9 million, but I don't remember where that came from.

I'm still trying to deal with the cause and effect of keeping Terri's room at 60 degrees. Maybe that will be in the emergency hearing this Tuesday. IMO, this is all very conspiratorial. Does Terri have to die to legitimize what they plan on doing in the future?

I'm thinking about contacting John Ashcroft as this is a crime of major proportions.

It's my sincere wish that the hearse chaser gets nervous before the Emergency Hearing this Tuesday, Tampa, Federal Court. His gig is up. All this publicity is going to hurt his practice, hurt Hospice donations and completely destroy Judge Greer's career. They did this to themselves due to their desire to take a life under false pretenses. How dare they?

I am contacting USAG John Ashcroft next week. It's time that he is made aware of this travesty of justice.

I definitely didn't vote for Greer. His Judicial Assistant is okay but he's in this one way too deep.

I'm praying too. Starting to feel like Florida is a testing ground for our country.

You're right. I didn't notice that. Schiavo obviously wanted full control over her destiny pretty darn soon after she was found unconscious.

The entire article paints him as a loving caring husband. Yet by getting a legal document signed by her parents to give him full control clearly shows that he had alteria motives all along. I think he expected that she would die and was betting a lot on that. When it did not happen "naturally" he withdrew the loving husband charade.
