Ahnult was the poster child for hedonism. The cult of the body and all that goes with it. I've read a fair bit of his exploits and philosophy around the bodybuilding period and it's fair to say that his life was centered around self-gratification and the eternal pursuit of pleasure, either carnal or pharmacological.

Then he went to Hollywood.

I'm in no way surprised about his attitude toward abortion and other moral issues, given his background. I'd love to hear him say that he's had an epiphany and now understands the virtues of modesty, chastity and fidelity to one's God and family, but sadly, I don't see it happening.

There is something to be said for contrition and forgiveness. But Trueblackman once said something on TV about "youthful" conduct, that really impressed me. And that was that when he was 21, he was in charge of some of the most expensive and complex equipment in the US military inventory. He knew it then, as now.
