If you were a Californian and you have to vote tomorrow for either Arnold Schwarzenegger or Cruz Bustamente for governor. No other choices.
Who would vote for?

What is the point of bringing up something Arnold said 26 years ago? People change. They grow up, get married, have children. Since lifetimer pol Tom MadClintock was an adult at that time and according to the LA Times article (August 25, 2003 by Daryl Kelley) fervently pro-military and pro-Vietnam War around that time, can you state what branch of the military that he joined and the terms of service?
Attached picture of patriot MadClintock will substitute until you provide actual military service picture:

If Arnold had self-pleasured himself into the Oval Office sink and George Stephanopolis's wastebasket like Billy Blisters, he would be accepted by the Clinton family, too.

You don't care? Fine. The sheeple didn't care with Clinton either. Some of us DO care...

I would hope you have more sense than to actually think "saying McClintock can't win" in any way approaches the level of damage a post and thread like this could cause.
This post and thread won't get a fraction of the hits that Drudge will get. The damage will be done with or without Free Republic.
I was warning from the earliest stages of the recall campaign that the Dems would be laying in wait for Arnold with personal scandals. Those who've rushed to his bandwagon have no excuse for beijng surprised by this. It's August 27th, and the recall is over 5 weeks away. Do you really think this is the last arrow the Democrats have?

My panic? Good joke! You show me one place where I've badmouthed McC. I will lash out and try to ridicule every social conservative that foists his intemperence and intolerance my way. I've had enough of your (typlified) cheap crap, and I ain't gonna take it anymore. If that means the end of this fine country - I put the blame squarely on your (typlified) doorstep.

I'm waiting for the dirt on Gary Coleman, so I can ignore it and defend him! If I had to guess, it's that Coleman takes "upskirt" photos of women. And that he has an iron clad defense......

I will not comment on the text, other than to say, I would love to see him explain now how his morals have changed since this interviewEasy. He married into the Kennedy clan.

I suspect Drudge has more than a few pictures of men in his collection..........

Did you say the same thing when people were making allegations about wild sex and drugs by Bill Clinton in the 70s? Apples and oranges.
Schwarzenegger open and honest and has changed.
Clinton evil and deceitful and never changed--just got worse.

Finally another guy who bought the magazine for the articles!! I thought I was the only one.

It was Nancy Hernreich's sink. Wonder if that's on her resume? It certainly would get you hired in DLC circles......
To: cyncooper
What makes you think he changed? Was it when he opposed Clinton's impeachment or when he recently explained his liberal views on sexual morality?
To: evilsmoker
What are you talking about? This is the one time CA can elect a true conservative. I doubt it. My view is from afar. My best judgment is that Arnold Schwarzenegger is the only Republican that can win at this time.
Simon ran a horrible campaign during the last general election, got zero establishment (money) support and still came within 5% of winning. This is a special election, and the most motivated voters are conservatives. This is the best shot we've ever had and you want to throw it away on a baby killing, tax raising, RINO.
McClintock just doesn't have a shot at beating Bustamente. What he'll do is pull votes from Schwarzenegger. Please note that RATS have one candidate and Republicans have two. This is a prescription for disaster. For RAT victory

We want a Republican who won't destroy the state with taxes and socialist agendas. Arnold is rough around the edges, but that might just be what we need in Sacremento, a frickin' buzz saw who will have a tantrum when thos selfish greedy SOBs (Republican and Democrat) in Sac give out more money to the Unions and the retirement programs for administrations and higher ups which bars the rest of us from getting into the system while sucking money from the private sector and chasing away business, so we have trouble paying our mortgage and car payments. Ignorant SOBs shouldn't be the rich in this state, but since the rich her are in administration in the public sector jobs, there is no interest in cutting taxes what so ever. We are dying outhere and Sacremento is playing reindeer games. I'm sick of it.

Bill Clinton's partying didn't get a pass from freepers
Bill did it in the White House, then pretended to know English only as a second language. He did all he did from the position of power, as an elected oficial - governor and president. "I smoked but did not inhale"... this is the idiocy. Not that he smoked and inhaled. You will not hear such noncence from governor Arnold.
