What? That's a god who used to be worshipped by human sacrifice - and that god is being honored with tax dollars stolen from California citizens.

What happened to the "establishment clause" here? Apparently it's okay to publicly fund and promote religion, so long as that religion isn't Christianity.

As I read your comments I thought I would throw in my own two-cents worth. This whole homo issue ... as you said here, gay and lesbian couples have one who is "the guy" and the other is "the girl" ... this alone will tell us, if we use our powers of reasoning, that deep inside they know it is wrong for same-sex relations, so they "compensate" for it by behaving as if they are an opposite-sex couple. After all, if it were perfectly normal for one masculine man to have sex with another masculine man, then why would one of them act so effeminate? ... and concerning so-called transsexuals ... I think it is really neat that God created us with the total impossibility of changing our sex ... every cell in a man's body has an X and a Y chromosome, and every cell in a woman's body has 2 X chromosomes ... so if you were born MALE, you are male in every cell of your body! You can take hormones, have your voice box shortened, and get your "plumbing" all re-arranged, and deceive yourself that you are now a "female" ... but by God's design, at the cellular level, a man can never truly live life as a woman, and vice versa. God allows us to do many things, but thank God, He does not actually allow sex changes!

Sadly, we let it get this way. A very telling quote says that all that's necessary in order for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. So true, and so accurate a description of what we conservatives have done for so long while our country has been slipped out from under us.
