LOL! That is the best you come up with? Aug 10 and 11?

Gimme a break, that was in the wake of the Tonight Show announcement.

I'm sorry. My time is limited today. Have you ever tried to remove glue reside left on a patio from outdoor carpeting? (WE didn't put it there, and now I want it gone.) That has occupied my attention for the majority of the day so my search was very brief. It seems there was a very recent poll showing Schwarzenegger in the thirties, too.

Well I dunno, it seems like he is stuck in the 20s, but I was impressed with what I have heard recently, comparitively speaking, but he has a very high negative in the polls I've seen. You just don't get movement with those kinds of things. We'll have to keep watching the new polls.

Arnie on Immigration

IMMIGRATION

--- Said Proposition 187, the 1994 measure that denied many services to illegal immigrants, was "history" because it has been largely voided by the courts. He supported the proposition at the time voters approved it. "Now we have to move forward with the whole thing and to look at it, what we're going to do with all the people that are undocumented immigrants here in this state. What should we do? Should we have them to stay here, which I think is the right way to do, but how do you then include them in our society, how do you make it official, how do you make it legal?" he said. He added he would try to team up with other states with large immigrant populations and lobby the federal government to address the issue.

Are you going to vote for a RINO like this? Not a chance, bud. That will be my final comment to you.

First of all, he calls them "undocumented immigrants," not illegal aliens. He says it's right to let them stay here, so in other words, he won't do a thing to deport them. Thirdly, he wants to make them "official" and "legal." In other words, he's in favor of amnesty. His only concern is how to make them legal, not even whether to do so.

Thanks for posting this. It tells me all I need to know. I'm voting for McClintock, and if that means Bustamante gets in, so be it. It really won't matter, since neither Bustamante nor Schwarzenegger will do a thing to stop illegal immigration. And if nothing is done about illegal immigration, then none of California's many problems will be solved.

I'll be praying for a miracle, that McClintock somehow wins. If he doesn't, then, to paraphrase Arnold, "hasta la vista, California." McClintock is truly California's last and only hope.

How true that statement is. The Terminator is as bad as the tan klansman Cruz. Maybe even worse.

I was sick listening to it. He also is against offshore drilling.

I'm going to try to refrain from commenting on him anymore. If he is what people here want to promote as a Republican, I think we need a new party.

McClintock is truly California's last and only hope.

And the country's. An amnesty for these millions of invaders would be a disaster, and the fact Arnie appears to be calling for one should be enough for conservatives to know all they need to about this RINO.

He's NOT what we want to promote, but he's the only one in the slew of possibilities that will motivate the voters to remove Davis and replace him.

Arnold wasn't convinced by the GOP to be a Republican, Arnold is the one that did that. We are all "victims" of Arnold's inability to gel with conservative ideology ;-)

I had Engler as a Governor and he nixed Lake Michigan drilling. I'm a victim two times over now!

Well, like I said, I'm going to try to refrain from commenting on the guy...I can see now what the GOP is becoming, and what it seeks to do.

I don't know what the answer is, but I'm not a Democrat, and won't support Democrats, no matter what party they're in, or how good they are at getting elected.

This whole thing is very disheartening. I wonder how much damage this election is going to do.

Yup, because what we have wound up with is the same party overall; one has a jackass for a mascot, and the other has something that looks like Cruz Bustamante with a trunk.
