I knew Art Bell was not going to last long. Not because of his back, but his son. Remember his son was kidnapped and raped by a HIV positive schoolteacher? I don't think he was the same after that. George Nouri is the best sub, but I wasn't feeling those others.
You are right about John and Paul. The biggest complaint I have about that show is that they do not take calls. I hate that. They were okay right after 9-11, but at least take some callers.

No callers to refute their hysterical prognostications.
I well remember when they had India and Pakistan about to launch nuclear weapons at each other.
Every week it's a new madness with them. In between kissing the rear ends of the Hotline commie Craig Crawford, Loretta Sanchez or various other enemies of the administration. Ugh.

Most don't realize the nightmare that will be Saudi Arabia if the extremists take it over. World War 3

Saudi Arabia ARE NOT OUR FRIENDS. Look at who endorses them... Robert Mugabe, Thabo Mbeki, many other tinpot losers as well as dumpster truck loads of American libs. I wish Giuliani was back so he could tell them to kiss off. Speaking of which, remember the 'Ask the Mayor' show? It's turned into John Gambling Bloomberg butt kiss-a-thon every Friday.

They are not anyone's friends. Unfortunately, the world is dependent upon them for energy.
Any suggestions on how we get around that little fact?

By drilling our own oil, inventing something new, making nice with other oil producing countries that aren't run by muslim nuts (is this possible?)... Yep it's hard. We've backed ourselves into a corner. Rush, the oil lobby toadie boy, seems to think we should just realize we need oil. We need to be technologically forward thinking. Too bad we let the environmental wackos jettison nuclear power. All in all, coal and oil is just as messy and polluting.

Talk to the dems about drilling anywhere in America.
We had an oil deal with Venezuela and I'm not sure where that is now that Chavez has gone round the bend.

Yep. I think for every penny we spend in Iraq, we should take oil. Will never happen though...
but that's why I like talk radio. They're the only ones talking about it. I will sometimes listen to WBAI till I feel the eruption of vomit coming. The minute I hear 'palestinian brothers and sisters--' off it goes!

I think Laura Ingraham will do quite well with her new ABC show, and I certainly wish her all the bestI wish her all the best too. I don't quite understand what her new deal is as I thought she had, nationally, a new morning time slot starting in September. But whatever, I love her politics and humor.

I used to like Hannity but rarely listen to him anymore. He has a bad habit of using childish arguments even when he is on the right side of an issue and he has about zero grasp of American history. He also lost me with his sophmoric "checkmate" line. I used to like Hannity too, but IMO his constant arguing with liberal callers has made his program boring. I don't listen to him anymore.

I guess she's better than the unbearable Monica Crowley, but not by much. I haven't found Monica to be unbearable at all. I've been enjoying her show, and I especially like the fact that she has a lot of conservative guests.

James Golden used to have his own show......Rush's producer....Snerdly.......and they cancelled him. He was GREAT and really missed on Sunday nites. That was a fun show. I enjoyed it too.

I love that pic, its going on my homepage..

remember the 'Ask the Mayor' show? It's turned into John Gambling Bloomberg butt kiss-a-thon every Friday. It's bad. I make sure I never listen to Gambling and the mayor on Fridays.
To: freeperfromnj
It's not possible to listen to Lionel. Doesn't WOR realize that his show is tedious?
To: Dr. Scarpetta
I try not to listen to Gambling on any day. Ugh.....

Lionel was fired from WABC with good reason.

Lionel was fired from WABC with good reason. If he's smart, he'll go back to being an attorney.
