It appears Rummy wants to get the DEA thugs on his side to steal some power back from the Condi and Powell who got their war in Liberia.

Rummy understands that our armed forces are for killing people with, not for being used as hostages in leftist UN peacekeeping missions.

There are a lot of people in Latin America who need killing.

Take off that tin-foil cap and drink your Kool aid like a nice little liberal.

''In this region we know there are terrorists, there are hostage-takers, there are drug traffickers,'' he said. ``Sometimes, it's the same people doing all three things. And it poses a very serious threat.''

Defund terrorism---relegalize drugs!

If you legalize drugs you will be funding terrorism. You will be in business with Communist Narco-terrorists.

If drugs are legalized and therefor produced by legal manufactors within the US how is that funding terrorism?

Nonsense---relegalizing drugs would slash the profit margins.

Would drugs be worth transporting and selling illegally (you know that they wouldn't qualify for their slingers liscense) if their cost were 1% of what they are now? And even if it still were a viable business (which is debatable) would the narcoT's make enough to actually fund their activities? I doubt it.

Rumsfeld "gets it", these monsters have common cause:

...Rumsfeld said, terrorists mingle with drug traffickers and other criminals.

''In this region we know there are terrorists, there are hostage-takers, there are drug traffickers,'' he said. ``Sometimes, it's the same people doing all three things. And it poses a very serious threat.''

Remember the picture of Rummy shaking hands with Saddam in 1983?

Welcome to the new terrorist breeding grounds. These guys will be turning our own guns against us, just like the Iraqis and Afghanis and Iranians. This policy of signing up with the lesser of two evils needs to end. But Defense contractors make big campain donations, so dont expect to see action taken here that is "for the good of the country".

Its time to legalize drugs and leave S.A. to their own demise. If they cant grow blow, their toast.

This will never happen of course. We are already letting the Afghani war lords run one the largest opium production cycles in history in order to keep them on our side.

The War on Some Drugs is a scam. I dont need a law to tell me not to ingest poison.

It's even worse. We are paying the Afganis (that is the UN does) so they don't need to grow opium. The Warlords collect the money and still grow the stuff.

But I'm sure they'll use the money to spread democracy and build up their country.

It might lower the price of drugs but the amount of users would drasticallly increase.

The Narco-communists would work unimpeded to fulfill the demand, and escalate their terrorist agenda against all running-dog capitalist scum, with the help of traitor leftists and anarcho-syndicalists in the US.
