In the past we have been proud of our unguarded boarders and rightly so. Well remember pride goes before a fall. Its time we simply swallowed our pride and sealed our boarders. Look I have no problem with immigrants coming here I myself am a 1st generation American, My father came over after WW2, he had no place else to go, the Brits told him you can go back to Poland (which would mean instant Death) to Australia or to America Well Im here so the rest is obvious but he came here LEGALY and he came here to stay and be apart of America not recreate some little Poland here in America. SO I dont much care for a bunch of people who show a total disregard for our laws by violating our boarders and thus breaking our law and then expect me to change, now they are talking about giving them DL#s and therefore legitimizing their presence here. I dont mean to sound mean but they should all be driven out of the US then if they want to come back in put one of those damn Digital angel chips in them so we can track them for their own good and ours.

I agree with the 7th ID. I would add 7 more divisions besides that one.
With those troops we could put a 200,000 man security blanket on Iraq that would stifle opposition. We could establish an active duty rotation that would preserve some semblance of family for those troops.

I think Sen. Bailey Hutchison is playing into Rat spin about things going badly in Iraq.
Why should we believe that an ex-T-sipper cheerleader knows anything about appropriate troop strength and deployment strategies? Sure she has a "(R)" next to her name, but that doesn't mean I respect her political whims masquerading as policy statements.
