My pleasure, and thanx to harpseal. After all, my ox is also getting gored with all these IT capers.
I want to see all congress critters receiving lots of paper on this.

Sorry I am so late to the thread I was offline for a while. Thank you. We need as many Freepers as possible to get this to every politician we can. If they get enough faxes, e-mails and snail mails maybe just maybe we can get some results.

Ping. For Marauder he is getting the message out to the people who can actually do something about changing some really horrible government policies that are specifically harming our economy. Everyone on this ping list has the plan before. Lets get those faxes e-mails snail mails calls to the local offices of the politicians going.
On or off this list let me know.

Th eidea behind the plan is to hit teh politicians with a comprhensive program and maybe they will snipe at one or two and the minimum wage is IMHO the easiest target we can get the rest enacted. Do I want them all? yes. Am i a realist where politics are concerned? Yes. demand a lot so that the compromise tehy come up with is in favor of teh American people instead of say China.
Maybe we will get nothing passed or even proposed by the madarin politicians but if we do not try then get ready for a Democrat in the White House and Democrat majorities in both houses of Congress. Do not think they will be easy to get out either they learned from the 2000 election there can never be enough vote fruad for Democrats. And politiocal power suchas they had in 2000 facilitates vote fraud.

minimum wage is IMHO the easiest target Good point. First people making minimum wage do not have strong lobby in Congress, second miminum wage as it is now is way too high for competing with Indians and Chinese who can do on much less.
Stress the minimum wage item, this can be a common ground with the free traders. (Just kidding)

If #1 through # 12 get enacted this will become irrelevant as no one will be working for that low a wage.

the United States will lose $136 billion You're absolutely right. In fact, this might be the most important fact of all, since now their ox will be gored by the income tax revenue impact.
I may just send another fax with this cogent datum.
