"Short hair on guys is not just sexier, it's also survival-oriented."

As a guy with extremely long hair (almost to my waist), I'd have to agree. At least on the survival aspect.

Extreme care has to be taken when working on cars or any kind of machinery. I love my hair too much to cut it, but am always alert to situations where my hair can pose a danger.

They must really have some hair-raising rides at that amusement park.

LOL!!!

Wouldn't that be "hair-razing"?

BTW we have this proble where I work. Women refuse to wear them but we admonish them all the time. It's only a matter of time till one of them gets it caught in a machine.

If your company requires them to wear hair nets, and they aren't disciplined for failing to wear hair nets, and one of them does get their hair caught in a machine and is injured or killed, guess what? Company policy won't mean a thing in your company's defense. As a matter of fact, it will make it worse. Lack of enforcement of the policy becomes a de facto policy in and of itself.
