Once Jeremy realizes that Warren intends to gut Proposition 13, the election will move forward.

Why would Jeremy care what Warren wants when Warren isn't on the ballot?

Why would Jeremy care what Warren wants when Warren isn't on the ballot?

Because Arnold, the leading candidate in most polls, has made Warren his economic advisor.

LOS ANGELES - Arnold Schwarzenegger announced Thursday that former U.S. Secretary of State George P. Shultz will co-chair an Economic Recovery Council for his gubernatorial campaign.

It was the second major announcement in two days for the actor. On Wednesday, the campaign said billionaire investor Warren Buffett would be a financial adviser.

Buffett and Shultz will be joint co-chairs of the economic council. The appointments of Buffett, a Democrat, and Republican Shultz reflect the campaign's attempt to assemble a diverse and bipartisan team.

Looks to me like Schultz and Buffett are on the same level in the campaign. The media is focusing on Buffett, rarely mentioning Schultz.
Now why do you think they are doing that?

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Arnold Schwarzenegger has named Warren Buffett as his senior financial and economic adviser in his bid to replace Gray Davis, the Republican's campaign announced Wednesday.

Thanks,redliptstick!

I am not in California but watch the campaign with much interest. I must say, I think their property tax system stinks and I would want it revamped if I were a resident---though naturally I would be against it if I owned my home for, say, 30 years or so. But their housing costs are so outrageous there that new homeowners have a huge cost on the price and then the property tax. I don't see anything wrong with discussions about amending it.

Arnold's senior financial and economic adviser attacked Proposition 13, Arnold has left him in place.

So what? Is Prop 13 some kind of sacred cow? It sounds unequitable to me. But I don't live there, just have my own observations. If you like to keep a system that keeps home ownership cost prohibitive because of, what appears to me to be an unfair system, go for it.

And what I mean by my comment, is I don't think it is horrible that a topic is discussed...I fail to see why bringing it to the table means calls for the head of the person who raised the issue.

You, Arnold's socialist senior financial and economic adviser, the California Democrat Party leadership and the LAT's editorial board.

I think the 200+ candidates is a zoo.

The final count of candidates who were certified to be on the recall ballot is actually 135. Still a pretty big field though.

What are the chances that one or more of the democrat controlled counties will deliberately submit a flawed plan in order to delay the election?

False. Schultz has been named to "co" an Economic Recovery Council.
