IIRC, David Gilmour produced Big Country's first album, including the title track.

And how many people who listen to rap actually know what "eschew" means or use it as part of their everyday vocabulary?

Hmm...I like bluegrassas a boomer, I miss the Kingston Trio (I know not bluegrass) and some of the old folk groups. Maybe it was just the simplicity of the times... albeit, the Vietnam war was just heating up.

Two groups for you to consider... "Runrig" and older "Big Country". I love Runrig! I just discovered them a few months ago. One of those "how could I have missed THIS?" kind of moments. Wolfstone is another MAJOR favorite.
I don't think I've heard Big Country, though the name sounds familiar, and I have a feeling I may have something by them on a compilation CD. Are they kind of 'grassy?

What's upsetting is that people get college credit for doing and others get paid for teaching this crap. I know the mascot of University of Texas is the longhorn Cow, but this a lot of bull..

according to new research from the University of Texas at Austin.Enough said!
If anyone believes reasearch from UT, you need to have your brain checked. That is one of the MOST liberal universities in the world. They also have the most obnoxious sports fans I have ever seen.

I like the song "Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road." It always makes me cry.
What does that make me?
