Sounds like our government, at least.

Not exactly sure what this adds to the story, but worth reading. Sure sounds like our government at work...

"Wonder why Osama bin Laden is still on the loose as we near the second anniversary of 9-11? Paul Sperry's explosive new book, "CRUDE POLITICS: How Bush's Oil Cronies Hijacked the War on Terrorism," answers that disturbing question and others.
"

at least the writer was objective.

Didn't the guy who botched the search warrent request on the laptop get the maximum "performance bonus" and a hand signed letter for a job well done?

Who is Thomas Rider?
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=33948
"It turns out the official, Thomas Rider, is a long-time human resources bureaucrat who lacks experience in the intelligence business. "

This is hackey. No wonder the CIA calls them amateurs.

I didn't realize how cheap lackeys went for these days. Normally I would expect them to cost at least $100,000. I'd say the administration got a pretty good deal on Rider.

""I'm really not going to talk about my personal life," he told WorldNetDaily. "

Personal life, my fanny--he is paid (incl bonuses) with taxpayer money; what nerve.

And a thanks to Paul Sperry, who always earns his keep. For anyone unfamiliar with Sperry, he is the reporter (can't remember who he worked for at the time, maybe WSJ) who nailed Clinton, I think it was at a picnic for journalists, with a question that drew rage from the WH rapist. Sperry was fired, but appeared on several TV program to tell us about it, also a video showing a red-faced, furious Clinton.

That's a fair point, but lets face it; he was a human resource manager with the Energy Department which is not exactly, I dunno, head of the CIA.

The fact is that most of the large oil companies are in bed with the Democrats, ever since the Clinton Gore fascist regime. They donate to the radical environmental groups, oppose drilling in the ANWR (if they can't participate, that is) and support Clinton's Kyoto treaty, all in exchange for favorable treatment from the Democrats.
The tie between the Bush administration and oil is yesterday's news and quite out dated.

You really should keep up with these things if you are going to post about them.

Well, when the CIA isn't chomping at the bit to go to war, you have to take what you can get.

Your point? Unlike the anonymous 'sources' the White House based a war on, those we're supposed to trust without question even though no evidence has been (nor will likely ever be) found to support the wild claims of thousands of liters and thousands of tons of WMDs. No, all that's been found is a buried broken centrifuge, some bags of beans, and some tubes

Yep, as reported by Mr/Ms Unconfirmed Annonymous ...

When someone steps up to the microphone with a name tag, then you can believe it.

It's funny how the left wing kooks and nuts look for these annoymous sources and then put it out as truth. What was that
guys name who had the goods on Bush that proved to be a total fraud?

Does the name Terrance J. Wilkinson ring a bell?

Are you calling Paul Sperry a "left wing kooks and nuts?"

Just wanted to be clear.

JH Hatfield, author Fortunate Son, I believe is the name you are looking for. He committed suicide (in Arkansas of all places). It's unclear from reports I have read exactly which parts of his biography were revealed to be frauds, but his souring on cocaine use and abortion were rather ambiguous compared to the work Ambrose Evans Pritichard and Bob Tyrell did in souring their Clinton on Coke stories.

Paul Sperry is an accomplished journalist in Rightwing media, but you seem to agree with Clinton's assessment of him?

Terrance J. Wilkinson. ... Yep that's the one the kooks and nuts put up as a key witness. They were supposed to make him available for questioning right before he ... ummm disappeared.

Hatred only gets you so far. Then the even the 15% realize they've been had. Even ALGore supported the WMDs in Iraq, that is until his last speech. Good thing he's in charge of nothing.

Fun to watch.
