Simon has already proven he's an idiot, and McClintock is out-polling him right now. How's that for a reason?

Nice puppet...you take a nice picture.

Plain speaking is now considered "heavily spun"?
Whatever floats your boat.
I see no reason why I ought not take what his campaign says on his behalf at face value.

Well then you of all people should know that we cannot afford three years of a RINO
We can even less afford three years under Bustamante, who actually is more liberal than Davis. If near election day Schwarzenegger and Bustamante are neck and neck, and both still commandingly lead McClintock, which way will you vote? You seem to think that sometimes compromises (Arnold) aren't necessary in order to avoid something even worse (Bustamante) happening. I disagree. How about Gov. Schwarzenegger with McClintock as his Budget Czar?

But Democrats were quick to jump on the disclosure as a chink in the action hero's armor. The AP said chink, (he-he, he-he).

OMG. I heard from JOHN FUND at the NFRA/CRA conventions this weekend that Arnold came out AGAINST PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION and FOR PARENTAL CONSENT FOR ABORTIONS!!!!!!! However, the gun control issue is still up in the air.
At any rate, I'm voting for Tom McClintock, but it looks like Arnold is going to walk away with this thing and maybe that won't be the end of the world after all.

Plain speaking would be, "I will enforce prop 187" or "I will order Calif. authorities to enforce immigration laws." I don't see anything in this campaign statement that says, I oppose illegal immigration and am going to do something about it. Just a mild exhortation to do things legally, with no promises for action.
I see no reason why I ought not take what his campaign says on his behalf at face value.
You can't be serious. This is politics we're talking about here.

McClintock gets my vote! He received more than 3 million votes in the last election so he has a good solid base. If the voters of CA want to continue the liberal downward slide to the abyss then let them vote for Bustamante. Or if they can't or refuse to see what a liberal RINO like Aunold would do then so be it. Be prepared for the consequences. There is only one serious candidate with the intelligence, credibility, credentials and policies to turn this state around and that person is TOM MCCLINTOCK!

You think he would want to be in CA speaking if this were a serious campaign instead of a free publicity stunt for his movie.
Well what was his appearance in NY but a publicity stunt to promote his liberal programs..
Remember now?
To: kellynla
Maybe only people in Cali can cast ballots but people in the rest of the country can vote with their pocketbooks, right?

(Liberalizm and homoizm are cults of death - no life can come from them.)
To: kattracks
Of course I know what I said and you have failed to report what solutions Aunold revealed today for solving the budget and economic problems in CA. NONE! He goes to NY and promotes his liberal programs. Enjoy your crow!

Well, it took awhile, but finally you answered my question: if it came down to Bustamante and Arnold, with McClintock way behind, you'd rather see Bustamante than Arnold.
Some "conservative."

"Maybe only people in Cali can cast ballots but people in the rest of the country can vote with their pocketbooks, right?" Only if they contribute to TOM MCCLINTOCK! LOL J/K

I think you've unearthed a troll.

...you have failed to report what solutions Aunold revealed today for solving the budget and economic problems in CA. I never claimed I would report whatever. But you did change the facts, to suit your agenda.
To: pogo101
I am quite obviously a better conservative than you. You would vote for a pro-abortionist, pro-homosexual, pro-gun control liberal RINO who promotes taxpayer paid social programs. Be prepared for the consequences.

According to his business manager, Arnold has had this NYC commitment scheduled for quite some time. I'd say it's admirable of him to stand by his agreement to make an appearance. FYI, he spent most of the weekend working on his gubernatorial campaign, if that's any comfort to you.
Most likely your candidate, McClintock, while a good man and certainly qualified (although he can't seem to get out of the State Senate despite numerous other attempts and votes from many of us here) will ultimately back out of this race.
What would you do in that event, throw your support to Camejo or Bustamonte or Angelyne in protest, or simply stay home and pout?
